Orange is a city located in Orange County, California. It is approximately 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) north of the county seat, Santa Ana. Orange is unusual in this region because many of the homes in its Old Town District were built prior to 1920. While many other cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, Orange decided to preserve them. The small city of Villa Park is surrounded by the city of Orange. The population was 139,812 as of 2014.

Whenever we are in SOCAL visiting family we always visit Flappy Jack's at least once. This is a really popular breakfast spot and for good reason; generous helpings of delicious food along with excellent friendly service. Driving round trip across country from New England to California & back again, we have had many breakfasts on the road. Flappy Jack's is always one of the best! Our eggs are always perfect, and the pancakes fluffy with special artwork for the kids. If you haven't tried Flappy Jack's at least once, highly recommend you give it a try.

Took our out of town guests here because it is a fun place to eat with a fun menu. Most of the group got chicken in waffle with fries. I got bacon and cheese - no egg - for mine. The gal taking the order kept asking my husband --NO EGG?? yep, no egg.Are you sure? yep. Ok she says, no egg.Our orders were ready in no time and there were a lot of laughs about how the food comes and that we are eating outside on a windy night. Hey we say -- this is Orange CA and welcome to it.
Each time we come to CA to see our daughter, this is a stopping place. The food is good but people watching is even better here.
Drink refills are do it yourself and it did not take our GA & OH guests to get in the swing of things.
AS it is only a one unisex bathroom, a bit more attention could be paid to its cleaniness.
If you read my review, please give it a thumbs up and thanks

Very quiet, restaurant had more staff than diners. Two young women who were at front desk made their personal conversation a priority. They seemed annoyed that I asked for a menu and to be seated. Three times I asked for a waiter. Finally Juan announced he would be my server. Initially he was pleasant but that lasted briefly. The black bean soup lacked flavor and was very watery. Juan asked if I wanted chips. I agreed, not knowing there was a separate charge for stale, store bought chips. The salsa was reasonable. I ordered the shrimp tacos, soggy shell, tough watery shrimp which indicated they had been over cooked. The sauce was good but not enough to make up for $17. Three times I tried to get a server's attention. Meantime there still were very few diners. I told a waiter (name not given) that the meal was unacceptable. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Juan appeared with the bill and a different attitude. The total for this poor experience was $31.25. Staff said a manager was not available.
I called the next day, the manager wasn't available. A woman who said she was in charge (again no name) became very rude when told of the issues. I gave her my home number and asked for a follow up call. It never happened.
Absolutely a waste of my money and time. I would never go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Fast food would be better!

Lunch & Dinner Lounge Bar Take Out Catering Banquets Brunch Buffets (Weekend)
OK, we didn't actually visit the restaurant, but my son and his wife hosted Thanksgiving dinner with food from Citrus City Grille. It started with butternut squash soup followed by a full Thanksgiving table with salad, mashed potatoes, candied yams, roast Turkey with stuffing, gravy, and bread with balsamic vinaigrette. Everything tasted wonderful there was plenty of food to serve seven adults. All of this was followed by an apple and a pumpkin pie. It was just like a home cooked meal without all the preparation.

Took some folks from CA and OH here who can come for our daughters wedding plus hte bridal couple.
Most ordered burgers and so did I but I ordered it naked. For once I did not have to explain that naked means no bun but all else on it. One of our guests order the Salmon Rock Shrimp dish and said he has a problem with it.. So good he did not want to make a pig of himself by just gobbling it up. The Philly Steak and Cheese is loaded up. The future son in law ordered chicken parm - never said anything about it but that is because his head was down scarfing it up.
Burgers were each done hte way the person ordered it. From med rare to well done. Sweet potato fries are crispy. We did not have room left over for dessert - darn!
WE had reservations from here in GA and they were ready and waiting for us. I had asked to be seated inside, in the back room and we were.
Our server was attentive but not intrusive and drinks were replenished without asking.
Our guests were impressed with the place, even if parking is a bit hard to find when they are really busy.
Have never been here in the past that there was not traffic in and out constantly and this time was no different.

Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.
This place has just about all kinds of food you can order from. Burgers, tacos, pizzas and teriyaki chicken show the diversity in cuisine that is unlike most restaurants. Worth the recommend for picky eaters

"Serving the Best Bar-B-Que with the Finest Southern Hospitality"
Very nice people, but our food experience was not good. The Mardi Gras chicken was so salty that I couldn’t get enough to drink. It was also very spicy. The first couple of bites were awesome and then the batter got thick which was were all the salt and spices must have been. I couldn’t finish it. This meal alone was $23.00.
I reviewed the menu before we came, but the prices weren’t listed. We found it to be just too expensive and over spiced for our taste.

For over 30 years this establishment has been a fixture in the charming City of Orange Square with its stately trees.
Cuban-owned and operated by a second generation son offers authentic Cuban food in this little town in Southern California. It also offers other Hispanic dishes and Americanized fare. It is simple, with good service and only takes reservations certain times for dinner for large parties. Also offers wonderful outdoor seating in the good weather. Great Cuban sandwiches and wonderfully delicious tostones. If you are in the area, it is a must!

We have eaten here twice before; the first time was good, the second was a disappointment, and this time was better. The service has improved and food was decent. The location is great, so as far as being convenient and offering decent food, it was a good bet this time. The problem seems to be consistency, so while it is a bit of a gamble, it's probably worth it and we'll be back to try again.
