Countryside cafe is a local, southern, country-cooking restaurant located in ooltewah, tn. We specialize in a wide variety of meats, vegetables and desserts made from fresh ingredients because we know our dishes are only as good as the beginning product.
Our family (7 incl 2 young kids) had a late lunch here because my son-in-law had to charge his electric car at a place accross the street. Overall, our group like their food and the service was good but a little slow. I probably had the least favorable food (ribs platter that was not warm and very dry like it sat under a heat lamp and cole slaw that was mostly dressing and too mushy) but my order of fried okra was fantastic. Other people really liked their meatloaf, 3 veggies, and veggie soup platters. It is definitely a locals place since it is located about 10 miles from the interstate but most of the tables were occupied. Prices were very reasonable.

This a little off the beaten track but obviously well known by the locals judging by the number of cars parked. A hidden gem, an old courthouse beautifully decorated in the Victorian style. As expected numerous choices of tea and great lunches. Recommend the home...MoreThanks so much for your reviews. We look forward to seeing you again!

A friend recommends this little burger and bbq place out on the far edge of growing Chattanooga. It's been here long enough to have a local following of several generations. We sat at a booth, ordered and devoured good old fashioned burgers and crisp tots. The burgers were built just right. Didn't fall apart like the new fangled gourmet burgers, and were served fresh and hot. Friendly folks turning out goodness that will bring you back.

Coffee, Connections, Community. We are NOT fast-food coffee. Enjoy local. Wired Coffee Bar: Purveyors of fine coffee and exceptional meeting spaces. Get Wired!
I love this place. Their coffee drink are delicious, I like the seating options, and I like that they're local and not like the national chains. I order something different every time I come. I've accidentally closed them out while visiting with friends more than once and they're always very kind about it.

We made a family after church visit to Puleo's Grille and were all greatly impressed and pleased with the service and food. We wanted to try something different , good and near by...Puleo's Grille fit the bill perfectly for us....just wonderful. Cannot wait to go back and try some of the other selections offered there.

We have dined at Cracker Barrel restaurants many times. Even though we were here at dinner time and the parking lot was busy we were seated right away. Service was prompt and our meal was fine.

Rafael's is a great place to have lunch or dinner. The menu is pretty broad. Everything from hamburgers to chicken parmigiana. They are famous for their buy one get one pizza, and their cheese steak sandwiches. The restaurant is usually very clean. It is an order at the counter and they call your number kind of place. Plenty of seating.

I was traveling to Chattanooga with a colleague and the Wine Down was recommended by a contact in the area. It's located in new shopping/dining/business area of Ooltewah. The restaurant has a corner location and has patio seating and large doors that can be opened on nice days to let in the breeze and sounds of the outdoors. It was a pleasant day so the doors were opened. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a wonderful hamburger with fries which were very good. After looking at the selections for dinner that evening it would have been nice to come back and eat and enjoy some of their wine as well.

My husband had been trying to convince me to come for months. We have enjoyed Thai elsewhere. Thai Chili offers a quiet atmosphere and excellent service to compliment a tasty meal. We will definitely be back.

Aji Peruvian Restaurant is a darling little family eatery that is just waiting to welcome you with South American charm and great food. If you want to get away from the usual restaurant faire, this is the place. I've never had a disappointing meal here, whether it was lunch or supper, a business meal or a visit just for my dining pleasure. There is a surprising variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Fish, chicken, steak as well as vegetarian entrees are available and equally delicious. My dining companions enjoyed the simple decor, the delicious Papa Rellena appetizer and a variety of wonderful entrees. We finished our meal with a delicate Alfajores. Aji is a smaller restaurant with a family feel, so if the place is full of guests then one would expect to wait a bit, but we didn't have to wait that long at all. A.P.R. is located on northern side of Ooltewah-Ringgold Road just off of the "Four Corners" main intersection in Collegedale. They are open regular hours during the week, but you should really call 423.396.3919 to make sure of their hours of availability on the weekend.
