We walked in to Orsi's and were going to leave due to a lack of seating. We were informed they had tables to set up so we stayed. WOW! This was an unbelieveable experience. After ordering our pizza we got some bread, salami and swiss cheese for later. Talked with everyone behind the counter for 20 minutes about all kinds of interesting things and ate some if the best pizza of my life. DO NOT MISS THIS. There will be full seating this summer so NO EXCUSES

Everytime, we go to Block 16, we experience a line and parking challenges. The food is worth both. Being a popular place, there is always customer entertainment while you wait. I had the veggie wrap and it was simple naan shell with veggies, slaw and a few fries in it, delcious sauce that was filling and so good. I wanted an order of pantene ,so the fries helped me with that craving. My guest had the crab rangoon hot dog. I never eat hot dogs, but was convinced after some coaxing to have a bite. Wierd, but I liked the flavors. This menu is unique, priced right and served quickly.

Simple straight forward diner food....no frills, no fuss but service is good and food is reasonably priced and plentiful. The wait for a table seems constant....quite the variety of clientele too.

Delightful restaurant in the tourist district The Old Market, Pouring rain, quick find a place. ducked under an overhang, peeking in a window and there was a very lovely whitetable cloths, white cloth napkins, well dressed wait staff and zip we were in.
Loved the place and understand it had burned down a year or so ago. Obviously there was consideration and excellent taste put into the restoration.
I had the lahvosh while my friend and one of the benedicts. Both were excellent and more than we could eat. So we ate what we like best!!

Plank is a coastally-inspired oyster bar and seafood grill in Omaha, Nebraska. Thoughtful service, notable flavors, and social moments found here.
I met my son fried oysters because this is one of the best in fish and shellfish with a great reputation of quality food and friendly service.

Short and to the point...when you think of an Italian restaurant in Omaha that is going to serve up outstanding cuisine from Italy, then Lo Sole Mio Ristorante is at the top of the list...nothing else comes close.
Be sure to make reservations if you are having dinner, especially on the weekend. Either way, be sure to call ahead to see if reservations are necessary.
Food is totally great...I always order the fetuccinni alfredo...but anything you select will be a delight to digest !!!
Buon Appetito !!!

It had been a while since we had been to The Drover (a few years), and we decided to visit there instead of our usual Brother Sebastian's. We went at 8:00 on a Wednesday night, and were told we would need to wait 30 minutes. And it wasn't a "I'm sorry, we're really busy" speech - it was a chilly "you need to wait" order that was barked at us. Not even a smile or proper greeting. We were brushed off into the waiting area (literally with the swoosh of a hand - not even shown to a table), and sat down at a little table that hadn't been cleared yet (our other table option hadn't been cleared either). It took about 10 mins for someone to come over, clear the table, and take our drink order. That person seemed to really not like her job. Not pleasant at ALL. The drinks did come quickly, and they were fine. The overall atmosphere is ok - kind of kitschy with a little bit of dreariness added. After 35 mins, we decided to check how much longer it would be, and the host practically yelled at us "I told you it might be longer than 30 minutes!". We felt scolded, and retreated to our waiting table again. And no, he had NOT told us it would be longer than 30 minutes. I contemplated leaving - but I was hungry and wanted steak. We were FINALLY seated after waiting longer than 45 minutes (after some people who had come in after us, mind you - and no, they didn't have a reservation). The server was prompt and pleasant (thank goodness!). He was knowledgeable (recommended I do a butterfly cut on my steak which was absolutely the right choice), respectful, cheerful, and attentive (kept our water glasses full the entire time). He more than made up for the grumpy host and drink server. The salad bar was well-attended and adequate. The bread was warm and yummy. It took a little while for the food to be served, but my steak was done perfectly. I had the whiskey filet and highly recommend it. The asparagus was flavorful and tender. My daughter and I decided to split a piece of cheesecake, and unfortunately, it was dry and bland. Not what I expected for $9. The wine selection was just ok (my husband and I had a Kendall-Jackson Merlot that was average). So it was both a good and bad meal experience for us. The dinner server was much above average - but the host (I assumed the owner) and drink server were below average. The food was excellent (although I would have liked having two sides better than the one offering). Unfortunately, the way we were treated before being shown to our dinner table soured our impression, and we will not be back any time soon. it's back to Brother Sebastian's for us - where they greet you with a smile, the salad bar is larger, the steaks are just as good, and the service is exemplary. We have frequently gone there for over two decades and never had a bad experience.

Tucked away in Midtown, Spezia Omaha's great food, attentive service and intimate atmosphere give guests the memorable dining experience they crave. The party rooms, courtyard, and infamous "Romance Booth" make it the best kept secret in Omaha. With its big-city ambiance and small-town comfort, Spezia is sure to become a favorite spot for you and your loved ones. Whether you are on a first date, celebrating your thirtieth anniversary, entertaining business clients, or getting for the weekend, Spezia Omaha is a must stop destination.
Grandson turned 20 and picked Spezia for the large family birthday dinner as we all have been here recently and call it a special favorite.
Waiter recommended the duck and walleye tonight and both were wonderful as were the 7 other dinner selections.
Large number of big parties so food out of the kitchen was a little slower than other times, but all was nice and hot.
