Opened in late 2011 grass fed beef hamburgers out of this world unique toppings.
Ate here after driving around LakeMcConaghey based on other TripAdvisor reviews. The burgers were great, mushroom fries were a nice alternative to fries and a $3.50 glass of wine to boot. Played a little bit of shuffleboard and called it a day. Great fun time and the staff was very polite.

Lampstand Coffee Shop downtown Ogallala next to true value hardware is a great little shop that serves great espresso drinks, fresh brew coffee, frappes, and smoothies! We also have breakfast burritos and other items for breakfast, Panini, sandwiches, salads, desserts, snacks, Christian books and gifts, free Wi-Fi, inside seating, games, cards, and colors for all ages! See you at Lampstand!
Cute place. Friendly staff. Great little shop to find a gift. I just wish small town coffee shops would visit Seattle or at a minimum would watch some YouTube videos on how to properly make a latte. (Hint: no spoon needed)

If you are a baker yourself, you know that refrigerating your baked goods dries them out, and this is just the effect refrigeration is having on this little bakery's almost goodies.
The tiny tarts can survive, but cold, dry cupcakes and bars don't cut it.
There is a fun variety of items, but you are better off ordering a freshly baked cake and asking for it to left on the counter before you pick it up!

It's honestly the best DQ food Ive had! I got two cheeseburgers and my husband got chicken fingers! We didn't have any problems with workers they were super nice to us. The floor needs to be swept better but other than that our lunch stop was just fine.

I had a good meal with a tasty salsa to go with the chips. It is a typical Mexican restaurant with better than average food. it sure beats a Chili's.It's close to the freeway and better than fast food. You should eat there if you've been on the road a long time.

We were welcomed in as if we had known the owners forever. The food was outstanding! We enjoyed getting acquainted with the owners and learning that they had been there and in business for 33 years. Will definitely return here when passing through the area again.

This was walkable from our hotel (the Lonesome Dove). The interior is large and a bit gloomy, like it's halfway through a renovation. Service was pretty good. Steaks were reasonably priced ($25 for Filet Mignon) and were a bit better than average.

Needs to be on your restaurant list. A great local place to eat. Not a chain restaurant. Family owned. Great authentic mexican food. Great service as well.
We have stayed in Ogallala a few times but never say this place on the south east side of I-80. We had gone to another Mexican place but had been disappointed with the flavor. This place was a good find. We had chicken deep fried tacos and ground beef enchiladas and both were good. They gave us a big bag of chips and salsa along with the dinners. Will return here if in Ogallala again.

Every Chinese buffet should strive to be like Royal Buffet. Instead of the same old endless meat options, Royal has a variety of dishes with vegetables and different meats. They're also constantly being rotated and freshened so that you never get a congealed cold plate. And the price even for a weekend buffet is quite reasonable.

Golden Village is our family's favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Steve (the owner), is a goofy, very personable guy and his family is very nice. The food is excellent and very quick. The menu is extensive. Some of our favorites include: won ton soup, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, chicken lo mein, happy family (very good!!) and sweet and sour chicken. Golden Village also has excellent, reasonably priced lunch specials. Lunch is smaller portions of your favorites served on individual trays including soup, appetizer and main. Give Steve a try!
