Stopped for a treat during a visit to Deep Creek Lake and we were pleased that we did not miss the opportunity to taste chocolate ice cream at its best - yum!!!

We had eaten here once before and the food was great. This particular trip we called in a pizza to bring home with us...it was fantastic! This place is definitely worth stopping & grabbing a bite of good food.

This is a perfect place to grab coffee and breakfast. It is so warm and inviting with comfy chairs, inviting couches, and standard tables. You can grab and go or enjoy at the cafe.

Fresh and Hot made to order donuts and brewed coffee. Watch your donuts get made from scratch.
For many years, we have enjoyed Deep Creek Lake as a Western Maryland Mountain Playground.
We select and enjoy chocolate donuts from Deep Creek Donuts, which provides a picnic area with great views of Deep Creek Lake.
The day is sunny and the views of fall foliage and lake are stunning.
We recommend.

We chose this restaurant for our last dinner before going back home, on the recommendation of our innkeeper at Lake Pointe Inn.We were not disappointed.
Prices here are expensive. However, everything is first rate. You are paying for prime cuts of beef and fresh food.
I had a NY strip that was excellent. My wife had the crab cakes. Now, we have had Maryland crabcakes all over the state, and we know that most everywhere has great ones. But we were very surprised to have had the best we have ever had in a restaurant so far from the sea! well worth the price you pay.

Located at Will O' The Wisp on beautiful Deep Creek Lake withoutside dining, pub area and family dining. Pasta mania every Wednesday Night. Happy Hour in the pub area Sun thru Friday3p.m. to 7p.m.. Full children's menu. Catering and Private Events.
We decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch.......great decision on our part because we escaped all the crowds that normally come here for all evening special dinners (Stir Fry Nights,etc.). Yes, the restaurant was busy, but not as crazy as the dinner time hours!
My spouse & I first ordered glasses of wine and were happily surprised (or should I say shocked?) to see that the glasses were pretty much filled to the top. Nice serving size!
My spouse tried their Maryland Crab Soup.......a bit of a kick with spices, but so flavorful!!! I had to take a few spoonfuls of it.....that's how good it was.
We shared the Prime Rib Knucklehead sandwich..........SOOO glad that we shared it because there was no way that I could have eaten the entire thing by myself. The menu said that it was accompanied by "warm House Chips".....didn't really sound that exciting, but let me tell you..........those chips were the hit of the day!!!! Freshly-made potato chips that definitely were more than warm when we received them. I have NEVER taken any LO potato chips home with me, but this time, I didn't let one chip remaining on my plate. I took home ALL of those darned delicious chips and ate every one of them later.
The best part of our dining experience here???? Definitely our server, Sydney!!!!!!!! Not only was she friendly & efficient, but she took time after our meal to tell us more about the Deep Creek area and gave us recommendations about things to do & places to see.
This restaurant will definitely be on our list of restaurants to be re-visited on future trips to the Deep Creek area.

I love the grilled burgers and hot dogs. Chili dogs for sure. For a fast food place the food is really good, prepared to order, hot when it arrives, and taste so good! I love their friends and Chili dogs!! I have had milkshakes and they are also really good. It's really a nice place to stop on a warm day, get your food, and eat outside on their patio. Very kid friendly and a happy, upbeat, positive experience. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Highly recommend checking it out and they have the antique cars there sometimes for car shows, which is fun to hang out. It reminds me then of the old car hop places where you ate in your car.

Casual Lakefront Dining at its finest!
This is a year round popular place for friends and family to get together for food and drinks. It has an ideal location, right along Deep Creek Lake. The restaurant is known for their deep dish Chicago style pizza, but has other great offerings. Attached next door, is the ever popular Honi-Honi tiki bar. This is always busy through the summer season.

We had planned our visit to Deep Creek for months ahead.......wanted to dine at this restaurant on a Friday night........ so we emailed the owners about making reservations for us. Imagine our surprise when we were told that, even though they don't take reservations for small parties, they were happy to "make a note" of our request to guarantee us a table!!!!!! Now that is customer service!!!!!!
When we arrived, Nate, the owner, showed us to our table. What a friendly greeting we received from him and our server, Carolyn! Nate is so proud of the restaurant (as he should be) and Carolyn just loves being a part of it.....she was a really fun server. You might want to request her, if you can.
We started with drinks, of course, and they were very reasonably priced...plus I actually got a full glass of wine instead of the usual 1/2-3/4 glass that I am usually served.
My spouse was thrilled that the Soup of the Day was Cream of Mushroom. His decision to order it was definitely the right call. He loved it!
For entrees, I selected a single crab cake with cole slaw on the side. No filler in this crab cake..........it was delicious! My spouse ordered the Maple Bourbon Salmon and he said that the salmon was so tender that it almost melted in his mouth.
Yes, this restaurant might not be on the main highway in town, but it's just down the street from the movie theaters, so it's not hard to find. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Deep Creek area. Its laid-back ambiance is perfect for people like us who were on vacation and its fresh seafood is exactly what everyone (whether on vacation or not) wants.
One quick note...........we admired the artwork on the walls of the restaurant and asked Nate about it. His talented wife, Kathy, creates a lot of it........so if you see anything you'd really like to own, talk to Nate. We already have one of her prints ready to be sent to our home!!!!!

Welcome to the Honi Honi Bar, the ULTIMATE Destination at Deep Creek Lake, MD. The best view on the lake! Full UNO Menu and deck dining available in the summer (Monday-Friday).
This is a fun place where locals and weekenders go for drinks, to sit by the fire pit, or hang around outside on the patio. The bartenders are top notch attentive and give you strong drinks perfectly made. Free popcorn, music. A nice vibe. Seemed like more of an adult crown 40+ (which is good!). Parking can be scarce, but it's right off 219 and a great place to go. There are few good bars around so this is special.
