Award winning vegan and vegetarian gourmet cuisine. Pioneers in the Farm to Fork movement, in business since 1981.
My wife suggested this restaurant, and my first thought was, " More boring fake meat dishes". Boy, was I WRONG! This is chef-quality cuisine that doesn't have to pretend! The presentation, layers of flavors, the textures, the aromas all made for a wonderful, artfully prepared, fulfilling meal. Nothing was " missing" or "fake"! Service was attentive, friendly, and fast. The dining area and restroom are a bit dated and worn - but, that FOOD!!!!!

This place has only been voted the best sandwich shop in the Detroit area by WDIV four times in a row. http://www.yelp.com/biz/ernies-market-oak-park
I came here on a weekday at 12:15pm. I had to wait for an hour before it was my turn. Ernie is a great guy! I now understand why every review on here uses the word "baby" as it is Ernie's motto. He is kind and attentive! However, the sandwich (I ordered the 7 meat monster with lettuce, tomato, love spice and mayo on wheat) was just good. Nothing special, and definitely not worth waiting an hour for. But, Ernie is awesome though! Great customer service!

I met a friend here for dinner, neither of us had been here before. I've heard they maple glazed donuts were a specialty from my coworkers. I had the cuban sandwich which was good but not the best I've ever had. The stuffed deep fried mushrooms were pretty tasty and the donuts were out of this world good. They had a huge selection of craft beers. I had the cherry sour which was quite pricy but smooth and exactly what I wanted. Its a good atmosphere and we had good service. I can't wait to come back.

They just opened last weekend. It is a converted car repair shop that the new owners have kept as the ambiance.
It is amazing place to go with your friends! Excellent food and beer. The place was a real garage and the environment is awesome. I went with my wife and friends. Good music and not a loud to disturb our talking.

Since our last visit to Ray's Ice Cream, 4233 Coolidge Hwy near Normandy Rd, Royal Oak Michigan, my wife and I have returned several times. Ray's is a stand-out phenomenal ice cream shop as good as you will find anywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful and PATIENT as you oogle the overhead menu to decide upon your choices. We enjoy sitting inside, either at the counters or in the seats beside the door. What could be more fun on a hot evening that a visit to Ray's? Answer : Few things indeed.

For more than 25 years, our sophisticated menu of contemporary American food has drawn guests from far and wide. You can’t beat the vibe of Beverly Hills Grill. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and our weekend brunch is simply legendary. With a menu and décor inspired by the Californian city of Beverly Hills, we’re small enough to feel cozy but big on both flavor and style.
This is one of our most favorite restaurants. It is a small place with only a few tables and you cannot make reservations. The food is excellent, the waiters are very friendly and you always feel very welcome.
After being overseas for a couple of years this was one of the first places we revisited. And we were not disappointed. Glad to be home again.

The bakery had a nice selection of Kosher baked goods. I purchased an apricot hamentashen that was very good. Highly recommend this bakery for daily and Shabbat needs.

Pita Cafe is hands-down the greatest Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to. Their food is amazing, especially the chicken shawarma's and the pita bread that they make right there. The service is fast, the portion sizes are good (especially the hummus) and the prices are great too. I highly recommend this place!

I've been to Anita's twice and both times the food was excellent. Some of the best hummus I've ever had, very good stuffed grape leaves and excellent Shish Kabob. I think it would be safe to recommend just about anything from Anita's kitchen. The items in the dessert case looked scrumptious as well but I've not had the opportunity to try any yet. I say yes because I will most definitely be going back to Anita's. The service wasn't great the first time, but the 2nd visit we had great service. The food is on point.

Our lunch included tomato bisque & minestrone soups along with the antipasto & Market salad (arugula-baby spinach, goat cheese, roasted beets, butternut squash, mandarin oranges, toasted pistachios & citrus vinaigrette - wow, a taste sensation) Thank you to the management for the amazing complimentary candle-lit dark chocolate/raspberry chef's cake, all served so hospitably by charming Maxine :)
