Hopping side of the road donut shop in little Wallingford makes racks of donuts to entice. However after sampling old fashioned cinnamon sugar and glazed raised donut, I would advise going straight to the jelly. A thin crispy layer drenched in powdered sugar surrounds a fluffy tasty raised donut and delicious strawberry jelly. Absolutely Divine!! Not to be missed!

Anytime you go there, they are usually busy, but you move pretty quickly. Every bite is a taste of pleasure my son says. It's a must try if you in the area.

Whitney Donut Shop sells pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. A local favorite.
large selection of very good, not too greasy, doughnuts. Also serves lunch, mostly soup, salads and sandwiches. Good Coffee and attentive staff. Get the jelly stick if you are hungry or do not plan on eating a meal for quite awhile.

Excellent selection of all things Italian from soup to nuts, literally. Meats, fine lunch meats and cheeses, breads, pastas..and the prepared food is awesome (although pricey). Many options to bring home to prepare or make life easy and get it already prepared. The staff are ok, sometimes I feel like they are doing me a favor. Overall you will be very happy after visiting here.

Visited this restaurant for a company celebration. Bellinis did not disappoint. Very well maintained restaurant with great staff. The food was excellent. Huge portions that were very satisfying. Our entire table left with to go bag.
Drinks were amazing, not one complaint there.
We had an absolute great time with our server Gina. What an amazing personality. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
Definitely recommend this place for meetings, gatherings, celebrations, (there is a private) nights out. It's ok for family dining. We were very happy with our choice.
Thank you Bellinis for a wonderful night dining!

It looks like eating outdoors is a big part of the Mickey's experience in warm weather months, but we were meeting in early January at the tail end of a brutal cold spell, so everyone was hunkered indoors. A warm semi-sports bar, semi-gourmet restaurant. I got the goat cheese and pepper ravioli, someone else got spaghetti bolognese, and our third got salmon. Everyone finished everything on their plates and seemed satisfied. The noise level was low enough toward the back for comfortable conversation. Our waitress was excellent.

I have been cooking professionally
For 15 years
Problem with restaurants is owners don’t know what there doing.
Very few have legitimate cooking education business experience and more.
Look at this restaurants ratings 10 percent of the people that rated this Resturant rated it terrible that’s pretty Sad.
This is my 6 time there because our friend wanted to go
3 times I ordered steak and it was terrible
Their cooks don’t know how to cook NY Strip.
2 times I ordered veal parmigiana
It was paper thin dry and chewy
That’s it I will never go again.
There is only one decent Italian Resturant in North Haven Wallingford and it is in Wallingford
Sorry North Haven

Great small plates to share, sandwiches, and full plates. The fried chickpeas were so good we had to try making them at home! Really clever combination of ingredients. The Gen'l Tso's Cauliflower is a great take on a roasted vegetable with a fun flavors.
The fried shrimp sandwich was very well done and devoured quickly. The pork belly Bahn Mi was similarly well seasoned but I could only handle 1/2 of it! It heated up nicely the next day.
Loved the beer menu - extensive. The waitress was excellent at sensing our indecision and helped with allowing us samples.
I cannot wait to go back and try more of the appetizers.

Everything about my evening here was average. The atmosphere, the service, the food. Nothing bad but nothing great either. They took our drink order then delivered complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was somewhat bland. I would've rather paid to have good salsa and chips. We ordered the ground beef nachos. It was the smallest amount of nachos I've ever seen in my life. Definitely not worth it. I ordered the steak fajita. That was pretty good but the rice and beans were pretty tasteless. I've had much better Mexican food in the area. I don't think I'll be back.

Well prepared and tender steak is just one of tye many delicious options. The french onin soup is delicious, especially on anchilly evening. They salad is served in a chilled dish which makes it perfect. Ifnyou can save room for desert. They offer wonderful choices. This is my go to place for a special meal.
