We have spent time in the Destin/FWB area for over 12 years since we have friends and family there. However, this is the first time to go to Tradewinds. What a treasure. Small, homey, and excellent offerings. We shared an excellent Caprese Salad with the option of a lot of shredded prosciutto. The entrees the four of us had included the Eggplant Parmesan, Pizza, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Ravioli. The accompanying salads were fresh, cold and with an excellent dressing. Nice wine selection. Given the chance, I would have gone there two nights in a row. Tradewinds has been added to the list of "must eat there" restaurants when visiting the Florida Panhandle. Our server, Kaitlyn, was excellent. One minor drawback---my pasta should have been more "al dente."

I was next door having some tires replaced. I was amazed by this coffee bar. A very cozy place with very limited seating (20/30) which offers coffee, sandwiches and muffins. I only had coffee but I observed people ordering sandwiches which looked very appetizing. I may return some day; very kid friendly.

Casual dining at its best. Right on the bayou, fun, outdoorsy atmosphere. I got the shrimp basket, huge shrimp breaded and fried with fries and the best hush puppies I have ever tasted. Hubby got bam bam shrimp tacos. Different but delicious with a sweet and somewhat spicy sauce, fries and coleslaw. More than enough to eat. A little pricey, but location, atmosphere and reputation probably allow for it. Place was full.

A local favorite. If you love Greek food this is the place to go. Large dining area and free parking. Excellent service and easy on the wallet. Large and savory portions. You will enjoy again and again. Friendly and efficient service.

I wanted to try something different and found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. Looked at some of the reviews and decided to stop by for an order to go. The address is a bit confusing as to where the restaurant is actually located but I finally found it in a small strip center. Ordered the beef pho, chicken noodle pho, fried rice and spring rolls. Got home and started unpacking. The small soup and fried rice portions are huge! Two people can easily share one dish and have food left over. Everything was very good. It hit the spot after a day of traveling. It was the first time my mother had Vietnamese food and she liked just about everything. The spring rolls came with a peanut sauce that was delicious. The combo fried rice had perfectly balanced flavors. I did not use any soy sauce. We ate the beef pho and part of the fun of eating pho is making your bowl exactly as you want it. I would go back again and eat in instead of taking it to go. Place was clean and service for pick up was quick and attentive. We have the chicken pho and fried rice left over for lunch.

Just tried this as an alternative to all the great seafood restaurants. Not bad, but could be much better. They did not serve Weiner schnitzel (veal), only pork. Potato pancakes were not on the menu and only found out later that they were available but the server did not mention this. She said there was a sign (small) at the bar. The bread was excellent along with the melted herb butter. May try again for lunch or brunch.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, too. At Jim ‘N Nick’s, we pride ourselves on using the right ingredients, taking our time and honoring the traditions that brought us barbecue.
Hit the drive through just at the right time- 3rd in line. Had the combo salad with unsweet tea- the best salad in town. I had pulled pork on the salad- they give you plenty! Of course, the muffins are the best!
Great unsweet tea, too- smooth, not bitter.

Independently owned local fare.
The food is simple great, I haven't tasted Beignets that were so sweet and the coffee was superb. Combine that with super friendly service makes it for a super experience. On top of that their sandwiches touch on the best of the Cajun style with the touch of the Creole..

Very good seafood. Even better if you can go early and get the early bird menu. Enough options. Everything was good.

Who would ever guess that some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted is in an old McDonald’s building in Niceville, Florida. Bamboo Sushi stayed out in Crestview, Florida in a big shopping center. It’s legendary sushi has become a local favorite. We love the shrimp tempura and Mt. Fuji roll. ( it is smothered in scallops and shrimp! )
