We found this place through Tripadvisor in our search for a brunch type of menu and it didn’t disappoint. Good selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. We’ve ordered pancakes, an omlete, burgers, and sandwiches – all were very good and the portions were very satisfying. The place itself is very small and seems to be popular with both the locals and Niagara visitors. It’s décor is pretty neat with old records plastered on the walls and funny saying hanging around. They have a pool table that you can use if you have some spare change on the second floor.

We had great service from our bartender, Dave, and everyone at the bar seemed be getting great service and enjoying the drinks and atmosphere. There were a steady stream of people all night, and many regulars, as the bartenders remembered many by name.
The food was great - good portions, and the waitress was friendly. The chicken fingers are awesome! So fresh, juicy and tasty! Enjoyed my salad entree as well, and hubby liked his sandwich. We'd go back. If you're going, definitely make a reservation!

A must visit for every individual who visits Niagara Falls. Donatello's offers a variety food...Pizza, subs, salads etc. I mostly get a sub for breakfast. The food is made with lots of love and the staff will treat you like family. They also serve great coffee and cookies. Note : "THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS"

The food was beyond what I expected. Although it looks slightly like a dive this place is well worth the visit for some real homemade Italian food! The portions are large and the prices are reasonable along with good service. My friend and I had to share to stuffed rigatoni. It came with a simple but very delicious salad and sliced Italian bread for the table. We couldn't eat it fast enough! It was delicious!

Upon walking up, the thought entered my mind to turn around and go elsewhere. We were not even sure we were in the right place and this was a public restaurant. It is in a small motel/apartment/something across from an indoor pool for tenants/guests/people. Really confusing.
Upon checking at the door - they could have a table ready for us shortly. Upon glancing around a few (and I mean few!) tables - and not much atmosphere - I again debated on leaving. However, we stuck it out.
Good thing we did. What great service and a delicious meal! It took the location, size, and ambiance from a 1 to a 4. While the wine selection was very small - they did have some. The food was fabulous. None of it was wasted at our table!
There really isn't much they can change - I suppose they care stuck with their location.

After 2 attempts to book on-line, our reservation was confirmed for New Year's Eve dinner. We were given a choice of eating at the bar or 'up front'. We chose a small table next to the bar which had a view of the exciting Bills game. The bar was busy, but not excessively loud. Our server was courteous and a bit soft-spoken for our elderly ears, but we managed. We each ordered the prime rib special which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I do not like asparagus and asked if there was another vegetable I could substitute. He said yes and named squash, zucchini and artichokes. I said I love artichokes and he asked if I wanted them plain or fried. I chose fried and again asked if it would cost extra to which he replied no, it would be substituted for the asparagus. I also asked if they serve bread with the meals. He said he could get us some bread with something to dip it in. He did not mention that there would be a $2 charge for this. It was a bit of a wait for the bread which had a very tasty dipping sauce with it. After about 45 minutes he asked if we would like more to which I replied yes as we were still hungry. But, at that point,our meat, potatoes and veggie arrived and the added bread did not. My artichokes were served on a separate plate in a very appealing presentation. I was somewhat 'shocked' when the bill arrived to find I had been charged $8-9 for the 3 artichokes. They were delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly medium as we had ordered and the mashed potatoes were tasty also. I did question the charges on the bill, and the server explained them to me even though they were contradictory to what he had originally told us, I paid the bill, tipped him well and went on without making a fuss. My companion had a glass of beer with dinner which we weren't charged for. We asked about dessert and were told there was chocolate pie, fried dough and cheese cake, but the cheesecake had just sold out. That would have been really good. The atmosphere was upbeat with many patrons seeming to be regulars. A friendly place with a nice menu. There needs to be better communication for the server to know exactly what to tell the customers though about up charges. I hope the owner continues to do well. We need more places like this. We were visiting the area from Rochester and near-by Buffalo, and will perhaps stop in again.

Went for lunch on a very sunny Monday. View of the rapids leading to Falls was great from where we were seated. We all had sandwiches, all were very large with fries or macaroni salad, and delicious. Large portions. we also ordered a cup of vegetable beef soup, which my wife said was the best she had ever had!! Topped off with Creme Brulee, perfect ending to a fabulous lunch. Server Tim was tops!!
