Authentic Austrian fare. Asked for Robert(past review) but wasn't available. Had Stacy who whipped up an awesome cocktail! She also knows the cuisine inside and out. Food is really authentic. Stopped by to get ready for a two week trip to Vienna and Switzerland. Feel ready to catch our flight. Thanks for a great dinner and a very nice experience! Highly, highly recommend.

This is my second stay here and I WILL be back. Accommodations are quite comfortable but the the restaurant/bar are awesome. The owner/operator Ken is a class act. He is the heart and soul of the place. The food is first rate and the Friday nite entertainment is worth the trip alone. So if you are looking to get away and truly enjoy yourself...This is the place for you.
Almost forgot... The AT is 100 yards away.

The Chocolate Shoppe has festively decorated rooms overflowing with handmade chocolates, hard candies and gift collectibles. The Creamery Shoppe offers over 40 homemade ice cream flavors and the Bakery Shoppe is filled with freshly made pies, dessert delicacies, and cakes.
Stopped here for ice cream with a group tour. Walked through the candy shop(S!!!) and then to the ice cream. Had never seen so many flavors. . . as in "Salted Caramel with Milk Chocolate Pieces." Oh my -- absolutely delicious! There's a very cute shaded patio with tables where you can enjoy your ice cream outside. Didn't have time to see all the chocolates . . . but let me tell you . . . they filled several rooms. Great stop!!!!!

Note to travelers this is a company with two restaurants one closer to Jim Thorpe which is cleaner, friendlier, and runs a little differently. This review is for New Tripoli!
I must say three years ago when we moved to NT we were thrilled about a bagel shop so close. It was different then, oldies music on the TV, fresh hot bagels and coffee, and a creative menu written on the wall.
Something has gotten lost here. The tables are frequently dirty, the staff usually are wearing pajamas attire with hair out. I have also seen on a few occasions, the Baker rub his head and handle the bagels without gloves.
They just renovated which helped pick up the facility but don't expect much besides sub par service, warm cream, and a long wait.
I like the flavors they offer and I try to go back frequently in hopes it is better but find myself a little annoyed at either how I was treated or the product offered.
I will say when the owner is present it is always a better experience (almost a given). I think perhaps a change in management when they are gone would help.

If you're looking for a "clean" restaurant with great food at a great price, you MUST try Katie's!!!! The menu has everything from burgers & fries to complex dishes AND homemade local ice cream from Lieby's (which all of the locals know from Tamaqua to Allentown)! If you do want an appetizer (all of them are great), but I suggest you try some of the seafood bisque, which they "always" have unless it sells out ~ guaranteed, you'll want more. The steaks are fantastic, the crab cakes are homemade & excellent, the chicken dishes are yummy & tender enough to cut with a fork. If you want to go on the weekend, I suggest making a reservation. The servers are very helpful & will tell you about the dish without reservation. I promise you will not leave hungry! Kids are welcome (great to know), and they do have handicap access! Give it a try ~ you WON'T be disappointed!

What a great little resturant hidden in a strip mall. Delicious food and friendly service. I tried the tabboulieh and was it great! A parsley and tomato salad dressed with a delightfully zesty dressing. I will be back for more.

We are located on 443 in lehighton next to Fedor's car wash.
This is about 4th time having food from this provider. Always consistently good and very tasty. Good selections. Love the turtle beans. Sauces are also very good.

Country View Dinner has some of the best eggs benedict in the area. Try them, you'll love them. We always go for breakfast so I can't comment on the food for other meals.

.......about this restaurant. Yes, the food was (for the most part) good, the service was friendly, and we surely do need a "fine dining" restaurant in this area. However, I did feel that the menu was limited (it's a great thing, though, that the menu changes often) and the prices were just a bit high. Another comment........nothing that the restaurant can do about this......but it's such a downer when we go out for a nice Saturday night dinner and end up sitting next to a table of diners wearing blue jeans or shorts. Just a pet peeve of mine!
We shared a Caesar Salad......could have been more chilled and much too anchovy-tasting for me.
We loved the bread served in the flower pot.....decicious!
My spouse ordered the Sauteed Shrimp & Diver Scallops.....he totally enjoyed it. The hit of that entree, though, was the Jumbo Lump Crab & Asparagus Risotto. Unbelievably decadent!
I decided to try the 3 Seed & Spice Crusted Salmon.......very good, but a rather small portion, even for me. The cucumber salad that was served with it was a bit too rich and it definitely could have been more chilled. The other side dish, fingerling potatoes, was too al dente.....couldn't even stick my fork in them.
Would we return? I'm not sure......I do like to support locally-owned businesses like this one, but I am not sure that there is enough there to entice me to return.

A hopping place in Fogelsville! We stopped in for dinner on Wednesday night about 5PM and there was quite a large crowd in the bar area. The dining rooms are very nice and clean. The waitstaff attentive. The food was presented nicely, large portions, and cooked to perfection. Wish we lived closer!
