We have been to this restaurant numerous times. It has always been consistently a good experience. The staff is very attentive despite the restaurant always being busy. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared.

This is a great addition to the local community. The cupcake selection is always fresh and tasty. Perfect name, it's a great spot to pick up a sweet treat. Convenient in downtown. Stop in pick up a sweet and walk around the green and enjoy the downtown area.

As much as we enjoyed the food, we went here specifically because it was rated number one in New Milford. Food and service was good, but this is in a strip mall. With an iconic New England town square setting, we missed that experience as we chose according to the ranking.

Tasty Waves is a local family owned self-serve frozen yogurt cafe on the Green in New Milford, CT, right across from the Gazebo. We offer self-serve frozen yogurt and ice cream with over 90 toppings and fresh whipped cream ~ Authentic Liège Waffles imported from Belgium and made to order ~ premium milkshakes and fruit smoothie drinks ~ coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, tea and hot chocolate ~ fresh squeezed lemonade ~ desserts, snacks and seasonal treats ~ muffins and coffee cake.
I am not sure if they use a powder or fresh yogurt to make their frozen yogurt but it's pretty tasty anyway. It's like all others: pick your toppings, pay by the pound. The kids love it so that's what counts! Plus it's clean and the staff are friendly.

We had a great meal at the Brickhouse. We ordered a large pizza half and half and it was excellent. It had that perfect brick oven crust, a nicely spiced sauce and great toppings. I also had a Caesar salad which was very good. We hope to go back and try out a call one which looked very good too. It was good food for a great price.

The Alpenhaus Restaurant is serving a variety of German Old World and New World style cuisine. We have a great selection of German beers on tap and many extra ordinary cocktails and drinks. Also available are MANY GLUTEN FREE items, and VEGETARIAN items as well. In our STEINBOCK TAVERN we offer a Pub Menu which is available AFTER DINING ROOM HOURS.
Great service and great atmosphere and amazing German food. We met family here for a late lunch. The food was amazing, authentic German food. Good portion sizes and good prices. The schnitzel was good and the spätzle was one of the best I have ever had! The wurst was very good too, and they have awesome french fries!! We will definitely visit again!

I've had their take-out several times (always good) but this was the first time to sit in the restaurant. There's a friendly, rustic atmosphere and the waiters are eager to please. I just had two starters (big portions) and everyone else had the bbq (they give you a lot of food). All of it was wonderful. The cornbread and biscuits were delicious, too. The beer was icy cold. This place makes me happy and the food always makes me miss Texas!

Our crew had a delicious lunch here...service was great and there were lots of options for a crew that couldn't decide between breakfast and lunch. The Greek salad was crisp and fresh, with a generous amount of feta cheese and olives. The BLTs and omelette were delicious too. If we lived locally this would be my go-to spot!

Northern Italian - authentic home made food
There are some highly rated Italian restaurants in New Milford but after reading the menus and reviews, we chose this one. Good choice! My husband ordered chicken cacciatore and I had chicken al limone, both delicious. The star of the show for me, however, may have been the crispy Brussels sprouts! We sat at a nice window table and enjoyed the good wine, good bread, and good service.

We use the highest quality ingredients - local, organic / non-GMO and sustainable - for our breakfast and lunch cuisine. Enjoy our baked goods, omelets, quiches, paninis, sandwiches, homemade soups, green juices and smoothies. We are allergy friendly and offer a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options,
I can always find something interesting and healthy, though I feel as though they have scaled back on the menu, there is not as big a selection of sandwiches as they had in the past. Service is good, but not the best, can be a little slow, but always pleasant and friendly. Looking forward to the fresh market selections when the spring/summer harvest is available!
