We had to travel to Massanutten to take care of some business. So on the way home we took Route 11 and drove through New Market. I have heard reviews from friends about this place called Southern Kitchen. So we decided to try it. My daughter ordered the plate of chicken tenders my wife ordered a Turkey sandwich that was covered with gravy and I ordered a hamburger. For dessert I ordered the coconut pie. I will say the food was average. The burger itself was good but the bun was a little cold like it had been sitting out on the counter and open-air for a bit. What I stop there again probably but I would not go out of my way to find it. I will say the pie was good as an Old Timer setting the table next to us and he ordered it with his meal and said give me a large piece so I asked him and he said the pie is really good and it was. Safe travels

We were given a gift certificate and stooped to try it. Yea it was great, it is soft serve ice cream at its best. We both got sundaes, mine was chocolate ice cream with butterscotch topping and whipped cream. Very good. This is not a full blown restaurant, it's a stand in the parking lot but it has tables to sit and eat. They don't have a huge selection os flavors but do have a lot os toppings so you can create some great selections. The best part was we didn't use all of our certificate so we get to go back.

First, the location is very convenient, near I-81, and on the way to Luray Caverns.
Second, the food was excellent as was the coffee. Had the pulled pork sandwich with chips and slaw, delicious.
Three big pluses....
1. Very friendly staff there.
2. My family of 4 ate lunch with drinks and tip for less than $40.
3. Before or after your meal, do pay a visit to the Calico shop in the same building.
You will not be disappointed!

Bringing Mexico to you! Our restaurant offers a wonderfoul selection of meals, creating a great ambience and an ultimate experience overall. Hope to serve you soon!
It is an ok restaurant, tables are old and not comfortable. Food was yummy, big portions and friendly staff. Service a little bit slow. If you like Mexican is a good place.

We went the morning after seeing the battlefield. We both had French toast and it was great. The coffee and service were really good too. There is a lot of Confederate memorabilia throughout the restaurant, which might make some people uncomfortable, but it's worth a visit.

Miller Grille, located behind the Pro Shop is the newest venue at Shenvalee Golf Resort. It's a full-service restaurant with one dining area and one lounge area that opens every day at 7am. Miller Grille may also be used for functions and is great for sport's themed parties. Have a beverage and tally up your scores, or relax with friends watching your favorite sporting event on the several large screen TVs. Miller Grille is the perfect place to unwind after your round of golf or day at work!
Stopped here late on a Sunday, mostly some golfing party sharing a final meal or drinks. Ordered nachos and quesadillas from the appetizer menu. They arrived quickly and the nachos matched the picture above. The quesadillas were tasty as well. Great to have a fresh cooked meal! Nice windows looked over the grounds and RV's covered evening sports.

Ordered ahead while on the road headed to a local B&B, as a grab and go. People were nice, order was accurate and right on time, food was good. While we would say pass on the cheesy garlic bread, A customized Stromboli was super tasty, jalapeño poppers were fresh and an antipasto salad was loaded with meats and cheese. All in all, pretty good job!

Just passing through after driving all the way from Boston we happened upon this little Franchise attached to a Gas Station, we were delighted to meet "Halo" who made for us a most delicious Pizza. Having been on the road for over 12 hours it was nice to be greated by someone so friendly and nice. We ordered a large pie with sausage, pepperoni and peppers. The ingredients were fresh and yummy. Halo offered up some nice conversation and made us feel very welcome. We think she is worth the trip and a real asset to this little franchise location!

It can't be easy making Subway sandwiches for people all day long but these girls made it seem like fun they were so friendly and energetic. Excellent, fresh, food as always and served with a smile. Highly Recommended.

Stopped by while on a road trip to North Carolina. Very retro BK still has the playground that I thought were removed everywhere years ago.
Servers were indifferent/bordering on rude. Seemed really bored. We ordered a burger & grilled chicken & water for my daughter. I noticed that we were charged for a soda. When I brought this up at the counter, the server acted like I had two heads. We went back and forth about 4 times & she couldn't seem to get the concept that my daughter only wanted a glass of water--not soda, and not a bottle of water. When she finally seemed to understand, she turned her back on me and started loading French fries. After a couple of minutes I said "could you refund me the amount you charged for the soda?"....."You don't want soda?" she asked, and it started all over again. She finally beckoned the manager, & after going through it (again) with her, I got my money returned. Just a weird experience, and no one was at all nice.
My chicken sandwich was cold. Otherwise typical BK food. Restaurant was not clean.
