Have order pizza twice from here and both times the pizza was great. Hours of operation were minimal but that is understandable given the location.

Town Hall Tap Room - on the property of Cedar Creek - features fresh cruisine, local beers, spirits and wine, live music and scenic views of Missouri wine country. Open weekends only: Fridays 5-9, Saturdays 12-8 and Sundays 12-7.
We had lunch and beer at the townhall. What an enjoyable experience. The staff was excellent and the musicians were very talented.

Loved this little shop full of surprises from a wide variety of goods to a cute little coffee bar to stop and rest at. The shop offers pottery, jewelry, baskets, signs, baskets, wood working, fabric work, etc. Wonderful one of a kind gifts. Painting classes are also offered where they will walk you through creating your own masterpiece. We really enjoyed talking to the girl running the shop about her pottery and crafts.

The hamburger is fresh ( not frozen) with plenty between the buns... several other delicious and satisfying entree's , including livers, gizzards, wraps and salads.. plus ice cold beers, including several micro-brews. What a treat!
Located next to the Katy Trail trailhead at Treloar, MO., the trail reveals one of the most picturesque stretches in the entire 230 mile system. Ride out about 10 miles West for some gorgeous views, then turn around and come back for a great meal and refreshmants at the Treloar Bar and grill!

I went to the Colony House last year with a friend. I ordered a simple eggs, toast and bacon with coffee. The food was small portion and took too long. When I looked at the bacon it was so burnt up that all the pieces stuck together. When I tried to take one piece from the others they all broke apart into about 20 pieces of charred bits. So I told the waitress that it was all burned to a crisp that it broke and crumbled when I picked the wad of 4 or 5 pieces stuck togther. She took it away with a frown, and came back 5 mins later with what looked like the EXACT same burned up Stuck together mess that she took away!! I dont know if the waitress is incompetent or the Cook doesnt know how to cook simple bacon they dont care about customers complaints or all of the above. I had been going there on and off since 1995. I wont be going back.

The El Ranchito in New Haven, Mo. is a good Mexican restaurant (not to be confused with the El Ranchito in Hermann, Mo, 15 miles west, which has not been good in my experience). The New Haven El Ranchito serves good entrees from an extensive menu. My favorites are the Shrimp Fajitas (plump shrimp grilled perfectly) and the Chicken Soup (which is so delicious with a twist of lime). The tacos are good, too. Service is spotty, sometimes good sometimes wanting. Overall, it's usually a net plus, a satisfying meal.

First of all it is not Buck's Hilltop and hasn't been for nearly 3 years. It is now T&T Hilltop. It is okay for a bar, but, if you want to have a meal and a couple of drinks, bring your earplugs and be prepared to hang your clothes outside to get rid of the smoke. Diners are not a concern of the owners. They cater to the drinkers at the bar.
