After that review, the Manager/Owner, Christian, reached out via private message and asked me to give them a try again. The opportunity finally came on another road trip with the same friend as last time, and I contacted Christian.
Arrived on a Monday night, was seated quickly, greeted by Christian; water and bread came quickly and the waiter was both affable and knowledgeable. My traveling companion had hot wings and a wedge salad; I had the lobster (needing something milder than steak because of some earlier-in-the-week gastro "issues"). I also had a house salad. Bread was very good too! The wings and wedge salad were pronounced excellent, and my lobster was very well flavored if a bit tough. The baked potato I also had was perfectly done and the salad prepared exactly as requested.
If I ever pass this way again, I will definitely return, and appreciate Christian for reaching out.

We stumbled upon this diner quite by accident and it was a wonderful surprised. We were HUNGRY but didn't want another chain restaurant meal. We were treated like family at this amazing restaurant. Everything was fresh, homemade, and reasonably priced. I wish we had a diner like this where we lived in Canada. You can tell a real love and pride of ownership goes into everything they do here. Thanks for a wonderful meal from these weary travellers!!

Hogback Pizza was established in 1999. Chicago style thin crust as well as deep dish pizza. We also serve calzones, subs, salads, etc. Stone ovens, Homemade dough and high end ingredients. Ice cold beer on tap and classic pinball machines. Please check us out on facebook and view our menu at Hogbackpizzadotcom.
Hogback Pizza is a great little pizza joint. They have good beer on tap, nice outdoor seating, really tasty food, and friendly staff. I go to Hogback often and have never had a bad experience. The Yard Bird is my favorite specialty pie, I love the Hogknuckles, and the calzones are delicious and a great size.

Tried this place because it is just off the freeway. Sat on stools at the counter.
Waiter had no personality. Ordered a couple beers and garlic knots as an appetizer. Also ordered a supreme pizza 18'.
We sipped on our beers and shortly after our pizza was ready. Had another beer with the pizza. The pizza was good, though average.
Garlic knots never did show up.
Mr. no-personality took forever to get our check ready. Nothing a little training in customer service can't handle.

Elk Creek is pretty good. I can't say our experience was anything more than that. Our waitress was friendly, although slightly inattentive. We were there for a late dinner, so the restaurant may just have been understaffed at the time. The food was good and didn't take long. I do really like the variety of food on the menu. I could go there several days in a row and always find something different to eat.

Located in the quaint "old town" area, this is a super clean restaurant and the service was excellent. There is plenty of variation on the breakfast menu and the coffee was superb, rivaling that of the most popular coffee chain. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful and very well presented. The hash browns were freshly threaded, the eggs cooked just right and the bacon high quality. Only one small suggestion ... if you are going to garnish with fruit, it should be edible ... the cantaloupe was rock hard. Glad to have discovered this place, as it is just halfway between Montrose and Denver, so we will be back.

I stayed at a hotel in Silt. I got the menu from the front desk and ordered a veggie pizza, salad and bottle of water for delivery. It was reasonably priced at $19. The call taker was friendly and efficient. The delivery arrived very quickly and the young lady showed up with a smile, plates, condiments, etc... Everything needed for a stay in the hotel dinner.
The salad was just a garden salad, but it was cold and crisp, better than I actually expected. My veggie pizza was hot, toppings were plentiful and it tasted great.
Thank you for a good experience . :)

This restaurant offers probably the best Mexican food in the County. It's prepared carefully with authentic Oaxacan recipes and ingredients. Prices are reasonable and their outdoor seating is pleasant. Samuel Garcia, "Él Patron" takes great pride in the product, and mixes a worthy Margarita.

I love local (non chain) bakeries and coffee shops....and this is one of the best of the best! Great pastries (especially iced sugar cookies @ Christmas). I'll return again and again for their excellent baked goods, breakfast and lunch offerings. A little gem in a little town just off I70.

Really nicely decorated interior even had a tile fountain but it was dry. Food was very good . . . my Chile Relleno was good but not piping hot. Every Mexican restaurant makes them different, so it is really hard to compare. Hubby's taco salad was very good he said. The service was lacking. It was slow and not the most friendly.
