This was a hidden gem in a rather residential area. Very limited menu but steak was great (Lindsey's Special Sirloin), the salad was okay, garlic bread was great and plentiful, and cheesecake was pretty decent too! It's pretty reasonably priced as well. My only criticism was the lack of wine selection and no reservations are taken, but small flaws in a great place.

Old World Pizza when in Bemidji........stir fry terryaki chicken salad when in Shoreview. The bread and butter are even special.
Seriously the pizza is the best because it is so substantial and there is more cheese than runny tomato sauce (tomatoes are under there, though).
I just like eating that by the lake in Bemidji......
The stir fried chicken salad in Shoreview was take-out for us and was unbelievable, containing all my favorites: stir-fried chicken, mushrooms, onions, brocolli, fresh pea pods! All in a nice teriyaki sauce. All on the bed of lettuce with fried noodles and some kind of nuts. So so good.
I record, these in my phone notes—we go back often!

We recently moved to Blaine, Minnesota and while roaming around our new territory we spotted this restaurant nearby. Upon moving, we had to give up our favorite little cafe. This looked like a possible replacement for our favorite little, so we tried it out for breakfast. WOW! It's an older family-owned and operated establishment that gives an impression of a small town cafe. The staff was friendly and speedy, the food was tasty and quick and the portions were huge! We will definitely go there again and we are looking forward to trying it for meals at other times of the day.

I was attending a 4-day training workshop down the road, so when I discovered this gem hidden in a nondescript strip mall on a side street next to a Jimmie John's, a liquor store, a tavern, and a spa, I was pleasantly surprised and knew I'd be back. Every morning before we started and every noontime after lunch I stopped by for a large cup of their delicious coffee straight up. The small shop and it's charming Ethopian owners are obviously well-known by locals, but I can't believe only two have thought to rate them here. I loved their coffee and place so much I bought a bag of beans from them, and may buy another before I depart.

A swing back to the family businesses of the 50's. Polite service, good service and food for the price. A fun place to bike to or walk to with the family in the summer, but good in the winter when you crave ice cream.

We've been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. Usually a special that's interesting but it is mostly a meat and potatoes place with special twists. The only complaint was it was quite noisy, they said they were trying to work on that.

We were pleasently surprised with this small restaurant off the beaten path. To start the bread basket is spectacular, fresh and soft, with a good variety. The pepperoni stuffed bread was our favorite. The main meal was very good and very generous for the price. I enjoyed the lasagna and my wife enjoyed her ravioli. However, we also had a meatball on the side and it was to die for. We ended the meal with tiramisu and it was fantastic. It was just the right amount of sweet. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and the laid back environment. The staff was also very nice and accommodating.

Expected a typical pub menu, found so many choices for everyone’s taste. Great flavors in all our entree’s from salads to steak. Nice dining area with plenty of room for any size group. For Christmas Eve wouldn’t have expected anyone working to be very happy however our service from Megann was outstanding. So helpful and pleasant, will look forward to returning. Convenient to shopping as it’s next to Rosedale mall.

We found Chimborazo written about in a book of unique restaurants in Minneapolis. We are fortunate in the north land to have a number of really good restaurants and as amateur foodies, my wife and I have been fortunate to enjoy many of them, but we wanted to widen our perspective and experience.
We dined at Chimborazo on a cold Wednesday evening in mid February arriving at about 7:45 PM and the place was very busy. The food grabs your attention with delicious flavors and the diners all seem to be enjoying themselves and speaking loudly! It has a very Latin America flair and personality for Minnesota! I really liked everything about it.
To our surprise Wednesday night offers a date night special with two entrées and a bottle of wine for $35.! This is absolutely the best value in the Twin Cities! The QPV is off the charts! I had the beef and my wife had chicken. Normally we're good about sharing, but this night we really wanted to enjoy every bite of what was on the plate in front of us. We will definitely be going back many times! The tres leches was delicious too.
