A charming cafe bookstore. Great food, friendly service, coffe and espresso drinks, 25,000 books, music, art and much more to choose from!
I love Falling Rock for lunch! They have great, made to order, FRESH sandwiches and delicious soups. Highly recommend the Grilled Pesto & Provolone. Wide selection of hand-dipped ice cream year round (I think), good shakes, malts, sundaes, etc. Good breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on that. Great friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Tracey's is a tribute to the friendship between Tom and Stephen Tracey. The two met in Munising and shared a love for photography & food. Steve's culinary talents and love for cooking are world-class; and Tracey's shares that passion. Our food is locally sourced, with Chef Jason Biega leaving no stone un-turned in his quest to deliver an amazing dining experience! There is no sign for our restaurant. There is no dress code. Our staff is sharp, experienced- and ready to serve you in an incredibly relaxed but expertly refined dining environment. You'll find everything from great scotch, to locally sourced desserts- handmade ice cream and more! We do strongly suggest making reservations as it helps our team better space our guests dining experience.
Reserved on Open Table a table for 4 with "a view" and they delivered! I was surprised at how much larger this restaurant is compared to pictures I have seen. First, they have a large front deck with 5 -6 tables/umbrellas for drinking or eating. It overlooks the bay and Pictured Rocks - nice! You walk into a large center space where the hostess desk is located - the bar is larger and in the center of the restaurant. This place is nicely decorated with pictures of the area and wildlife. Casual, yet upscale.
Better yet, the food! We ordered two orders of crab stuffed mushrooms (6 to an order). They served us each three mushrooms in our own cast iron bowls that were hot - classy! They were delicious - REAL crab too! We tried the lamb Shepard Pie, very good, the bean salad, nice, and then three had the bison shore ribs - wonderful food. Presentation was creative, service was fast and respectful, food was served hot. They have a nice wine list and a great cocktails (Martinis made to order!).
What a gem to the area. Finally an upscale (although casual) dinner option in the area. We will making the drive from Marquette often!

This is more of a souvenir shop with a small freezer in back with a limited selection of ice cream. However, the ice cream was tasty which is pretty much all that matters.

Great specialty pizzas with wonderful thin and crispy crust!! They also sell ready made pasta salads or green salads (with the salads, you get a small loaf of warm tasty bread -- garlic or parmesan, your choice). For the salad items, you pick up in a refrigerated case next to the register. They will add parmesan to your salad if you would like. Casual dining. Order/pay at the counter and eat at the limited indoor seating or on picnic tables outside.

We visited one very stormy night. There's no indoor seating so be prepared. Typical DQ, so it's exactly what you'd expect. Ice cream is my favorite so I left happy :)

This place was fast and friendly. They have a wide variety of specialty bagels as well as an excellent plain bagel. My wife ordered an egg & bacon on plain bagel and I had a sausage & egg on plain bagel. Both had a very generous amount of egg & meat on them and were so good that we got one more plain bagel and some house mixed raspberry cream cheese..sooo good on a warm fresh bagel! This is a great spot for a great breakfast.

So 4 nights in Munising means to get to visit many establishments... and this was an unexpected surprise. A foodie type taco and hot dog stand. Unique dogs and taco at a very nigh level. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices make it all the more enjoyable. Go, have fun and enjoy.

After a real disappointing visit at the Tahquamenon falls “brewery” earlier in the day... A terrible example of craft brew...we decided to keep it simple and just get a pizza for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste and the crispy crust of the pizza we got here. Nicely done.

We arrived and got the meal of a lifetime. Fresh caught fish within hours. Large portions too. Cost is around $15 for the fish basket, fries and a sniping if coleslaw. Fish was done to perfection for us. French fries-well are French fries. Nothing extra ordinary about them. Plenty of fish and fries. Bottled water is $1.
The food truck is in an alley off of Superior Street. Park there or in parking lot just down from it. We turned at the lime green/yellowish looking building into a parking lot. Walked up to the alley and turned right. There are 5 or 6 tables to eat at. Best to eat there so your food doesn't get cold.
Because it is in an alley, no noisy traffic to listen to.
They offer other foods but we wanted the fish.
