warm and friendly employees plus the good homemade food makes for a casual, nice dinner out. The menu is understandable, simple, fresh food and They are super accommodating. The decor is underwhelming but the wonderful folks and food make up for the lack of ambience!

On Friday night we finally tried The Goblin Market and it was wonderful. First of all we made reservations for their dinner opening, starts at 5 PM. We were seated immediately upstairs near the bar. Decor was like you’re in a plush private library with individual 4 seat tables. Once our waiter Brian made it over I knew we were in for a great time and experience!
We started with Martinis and Manhattans that rival Ruth Chris for craft drink excellence. Our apps were Pumpkin Bruschetta and deviled eggs. The Eggs were the best I’ve ever had while the Bruschetta was above average. My family ordered Mahi Mahi, Atlantic Swordfish, Crab cakes, and River trout. I ordered the Filet with Gorgonzola. All meals come with a salad and a starch so an appetizer is really unnecessary!! Key point... As for the meals all were perfectly cooked, warm on delivery, and perfectly setup!!
Service was timely, funny, and just the right amount.Brian made our drinks, took care of GF questions with the chef, and was also entertaining.
Overall - Excellent

Kitchen open till mid-night 7 days a week. We are an authentic British Gastro-pub specialising in full English breakfast, carvery roast dinners, real fish n chips with hand-cut triple-cooked fries and mushy peas and many other dishes using imported British ingredients, even our bread! We stock a fabulous range of British beers and serve them extra cold with glycol chilling taps. Great wine selection and many British sodas and crisps and chocolates available. Live music every weekend. Curry night Tuesday and Pub-quiz trivia every Wednesday
Server was as nice and attentive as could be. I had the pear and gorgonzola salad which was good and my daughter had a burger which she said was good. We LOVED the duck spring rolls but the french onion soup was terribly disappointing and the fries were not great.

The first of your sensory experiences is that awesome smell that greets you on arrival. Is that garlic roasting or the scent of fresh dough baking in the oven that’s making your mouth water? You’re overwhelmed with that stimulating sight; the pure pleasing picture of your pizza just coming out of the oven – you’re mesmerized! You just keep looking at it because it’s so pretty - you’re not sure you even want to cut into it! You cannot wait any longer - your patience fades and you indulge your taste buds with the wonderful bursts of warm, fresh flavors that dance in your mouth. Yes, you’ve just fallen in love – pizza love – also known as PizzAmore!
A very friendly place with solid food. We had a large group and food came out in pretty good time and together despite being completely packed. Tonya, our server was enthusiastic and friendly. It can be very busy so try to get in early. Food was very good and overall, well made - pizza, pasta, salads, etc.

Casual fine dining Authentic italian and mediterranean food Full bar Outdoor and indoor seating. Our business is also pet friendly.
We were promptly seated outside on their lovely patio in the historic downtown . Ice water was poured and menus presented. We perused our menus and quickly made our decisions. Unfortunately we were in a bit of a rush because of an appointment scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes after we arrived. The situation was made much worse because we then sat there for 20 minutes before Juan noticed something was wrong. He noticed my wife glaring at him and shouted from 20 feet away "Is something wrong?" I responded that we had been waiting for 20 minutes and wanted to place our orders. He answered that he was not our server and went into the restaurant. Within a minute Tamara hurried out, apologized for the mix-up and took our order. She was fabulous and ensured that we got our food quickly. The food was very good and made us wish that we had more time to linger over our meal and savour it.

We climbed Mount Dora from the dock at the lakeside inn where we came across the British oasis - packed on the art festival weekend we waited 70 minutes strolling the festival. We opted for high tea for two with two different teas, pastries scones, sandwiches and sponge. A delicious value at $36 for two. Many places had reduced menus and higher prices for the festival but not the tea room. Considering the crowd we expected service problems but quite the opposite with attentive service and attention to details - highly recommended when strolling around mount Dora!

We stopped because we have been every where else in the area. This place is on a side street and not somewhere that you might notice. We had been to the French restaurant, the English restaurant and even the German restaurant next door. This place is amazing! The food is great! It is clean and unpretentious. The menu is small and simple and everything is fresh. If your lucky Gianni will sing while he is cooking.

Always ready to try a new place in Mt Dora - so many options. Checked the menu for vegetarian (my husband) and pescatarian (me) options - and found enough.
Servers were very pleasant but not knowledgeable about the menu - had to check with the kitchen several times and noticed the same for an adjacent table. Food did not come out for a long time but luckily we were not starving or pressed for time.
I enjoyed a tuna salad plate. Tuna was fresh and tasty without too much mayo. I appreciated the addition of requested jicama from another salad item. Serving size was on the small side for the price. My husband ordered quiche (artichoke heart leek). It was good but crust-less - just thought that should have been noted, it was actually more like a frittata.
Desserts looked good but we opted for the cupcake bakery across the street - a bit antsy from time spent in Cody's.
Despite the issues - might try again - maybe breakfast next time.

After eating in every possible place in Mount Dora, we can without a doubt tell you this is the best, hearty, family oriented place to have breakfast in this town. We even went to that place that says they have the "biggest breakfast". Not true, although is cute.
Highland Steet Cafe is were we had four of the five breakfasts we had in town.
