My mom and I had a lackluster dinner at a really nice restaurant and lounge earlier in the evening. To make up for it, I decided to test her to a Starbucks tea on the way home.
I ordered a Chai Tea latte with four pumps of vanilla and my mom ordered an Earl Grey tea. We also had a lemon cake and a sugar cookie. The pastries were fresh and both my latte and her tea were crafted to perfection. This was a great end to a horrible dining experience at Traxx Platform Lounge in Scranton.
We ate outside at their outdoor tables as it is still warm enough to do so.
The staff were friendly and engaging. I'd highly recommend a visit to this location.

Maybe they had an off night. The steaks were over cooked and super salty. There was gristle in the all the portions at the table. The sides were good. From a steak perspective, the Texas Roadhouse beats them hands down. The service was good.

We were taken here for a lovely Italian meal with friends who often go there. We are from the UK and would be unable to return but would certainly recommend it. The menu was substantial, I chose potato encrusted salmon which was delicious, and the steaks are thick and cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Well recommended.

Used TripAdvisor when driving cross country to find this place, easy to get to from I-81.
Very happy with the dining experience.
Seated quickly, presented menus, and specials, drinks brought out quickly
lots to choose from
I really wanted a salad and there were several interesting selections.
what better to get at an Italian restaurant, than an Antipasto, came in two sizes: serves (2) and serves (4). both prices were VERY reasonable. I got the serves 2 and it was HUGE. I should not not have eaten all, I tried, but only did it with some help from my friends.
My wife had a nice side salad and a small pizza, plain cheese, unfortunately it had American cheese not mozzarella or provolone.
I tasted and my daughter ate some, I thought it was good, different but good,
Looking forward to the return trip and we will go again.

Taylor Deli has relocated from a modest rustic beginning with a few tables to a larger almost upscale space down the block. It offers convenient parking, handicapped entrance, a walk in service counter, lots of upper level table seating...even a few TVs in the dining area, usually showing cable news.
Breakfast and especially lunch are the sweet spots. (but we've never tried dinner...yet). The menu (check it online) is creative enough to be interesting. Wraps, hoagies and sandwiches and core offerings and well done. 'Old Forge Style' pizza is good. Omelets are nicely done. Daily specials and soups are good too. It looks like they do a big takeout business at lunchtime. This attests to simple but good food.
They even sell beer to go.
About 5 minutes off Interstate 81. It's a solid, convenient place with good food and great service that won't disappoint, and close enough to 81 for a quick stop or call in take out.

The Tipsy Turtle is really an airport/hotel area pub/east coast diner. It was located in the parking lot of my hotel so drinking a few beers and getting back to the hotel was not a problem. Wings, burgers and beers are the specialty but they have a very wide ranging menu from past to fish to steaks. What I love about the wings is you can order anywhere from 6 to 50 and there are about 50 different seasoning choices. I like mine very spicy and 'Inferno' was pretty much as as advertised. In addition to plenty of food they have about 30 beers on tap plus a few in the bottle. You cannot leave here hungry and while you are filling up as there are plenty of big screen TVs on the wall to keep you entertained.

We are so lucky to have this ice cream establishment in our hometown because people come from all over northeast PA to Piccs for their delicious ice cream. The ice cream is really good, great prices and fantastic service. Lots of folk enjoy curbside service, while others can use the picnic facilities or indoor airconditioned tables. Recent features are the coffee bar with the best cappuccino that we ever tasted. Piccs is the best in the area by far!

Four of us went to dinner for, what we thought, would be an enjoyable dinner. Were we in for a shock. Calamari was disgusting. Eating grease would be very similar. Cooked at too low of a temperature. Specials were bland, tasteless and just horrible. Raviolis tasted like Chef Boy Ardee. Sauce was Chef Boy Ardee. Without a doubt, the worst meal we have ever had ever. School cafeteria would be better.

The buffet is the best part of the restaurant if you are looking for a good meal. The serving sizes are generous and the staff is friendly. I have eaten here a few times with my son and his friends. Its one of his favorite places to eat. That something good about the cook and the service. Their brunch on Sunday is especially good too.

Placed many, many orders here. Just placed our last order. Spoke to a "Claire" that said she was the owner. She was extremely rude. Worst customer service from someone who is supposed to own the place, let alone to a repeat customer. Order placed at 6:15, called at 7:30, 7:43 and 7:47 about the order. Got different answers each time about the order. Woman accused me of not having a conversation with her about the order. Never apologized once about her attitude, tone, the order, and flat out called me a liar about our conversation, that I had in front of my wife. I will be posting this review in as many places as possible. No one should be spoken to like I was.
