First time here. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Good service. We got the haddock & fried chicken. All came out piping hot! All was excellent! Light breading on each was crunchy but not overwhelming the flavor of the food. Wait staff is friendly & attentive. Definitely...MoreThank You

This is one of those "old fashioned" Italian restaurants. Paintings abound and intimate seating. Feels right at home with the Goodfellas! Service is attentive and the food is tasty. The meat choices (veal chop) are very good. Reservations advised!

At Blu Star Grill your food is prepared daily using fresh natural ingredients. In the mood for an amazing fresh Angus burger come in anytime but looking more for an entree choice come in any night and enjoy our Signature BBQ Meatloaf, made with the same angus meat. We offer fish, pasta, vegetables, anything you are in the mood for we promise we have it.
Just stop by! The owner seems to be there all the time, happily stopping at tables and ensuring that everyone has a great experience.
The food is very good -- healthy, locally sourced when possible -- and prepared consistently well. Blu Star Grill is pretty healthy, too. A little pricey, but worth it.

Large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Fast service! Pizzas are wood fired so they’re ready in under a couple minutes.
We had the shiitake mushroom, onion and garlic 16” pizza. Great flavors.
My favorite part of the restaurant experience is selecting individual portions of salt, pepper, basil, oregano, Parmesan cheese, garlic, peppers, sauce and more items to add to your pizza when it arrives at your table.

A wonderful locally owned traditional New York / Chicago Chophouse in a historic Circa 1888 two-story building in the center of downtown historic Mooresville. The menu is quite diverse offering Great 30 day aged certified USDA Choice corn-fed beef, fresh seafood, pastas, salads and other house specialties. We pour a generous 8oz glass of wine, a true 16oz pint of craft beer and an unbelievable 2oz premium pour in all of our mixed drinks. Stop by and experience why our service and food have earned us the name Epic Chophouse. Reservations are recommended but not required. Please use the complimentary Valet right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is open 5 - 10 pm Monday - Thursday, 5 - 11 pm Friday and Saturday, and 5 - 9 pm on Sunday. Brunch is served from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm on Sunday. The bar is open 4 - 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and 4 pm - 12 am Friday and Saturday.
Epic is our favorite spot in Charlotte vicinity. Food is always great and atmosphere is very cool. Great use of a old historic building in Mooresville. This is not a cookie cutter chain restaurant.

I love this place! The atmosphere is upscale but not super fancy. It’s nice. It’s clean. The food is fantastic! And the fried green tomatoes are amazing!!! I get the fried green tomatoes even carry out because they are that incredible. Definitely a peachy go to favorite for date night and for friends and families gatherings. The staff are very friendly.

Pomodoro's specializes in Italian American favorites and authentic Stone-Hearth pizza and baked goods. All pizzas are made by well trained “Pizziolas” (pizza chefs) using a guarded, signature sauce recipe with over 18 ingredients; then cooked in a true stone-hearth oven to bring out the nutty, toasty flavors in the special wheat flour the dough is made with. Sauces, dough, dressings, desserts and the like are all made in-house daily from the best ingredients available. Their signature Marinara sauce takes most of the day to prepare being made with 2 types of wine, onions, garlic and numerous spices & herbs, of which the exact recipe is a carefully guarded secret. Subtly sweet with well blended flavors it will remind you of the best Italian restaurants in the New York. Meatballs are made from scratch and and many guests say they rival those that their “Nonna” made years ago. The Marsala is sweet with wine and velvety smooth on the tongue with a generous swirl of fresh butter. Picattas are tangy and tart, with fresh squeezed lemons & white wine. Zuppa de Pesce is an overflowing bowl of garlicy tomato broth, brimming with assorted seafood over perfectly cooked al dente pasta. All the items on the menu share one thing in common, they are obviously made from scratch by cooks and Chefs that know their craft. But what’s a wonderful entrée without a delicious beverage? No worries, the fully stocked bar features all the classics as well as bartender created specialties. Craft beers, many locally brewed, are on tap with an ever changing selection. The wine list features over 50 wines, predominantly Italian all affordably priced. With all the selections it might be hard to choose, but don’t worry, they also offer tasting “flights” of both craft beers and wines!
We needed to get something to eat for dinner after working around the house and yard all day. We looked up several to-go menus on line and nothing really struck us as inviting or inexpensive. On a lark, I called Pomodoro's and we ordered a take out dinner.
We ordered a calzone and a meatball roll. The food was ready when I got there (as promised) and it travelled well back to the house.
Both of us couldn't speak highly enough about the quality of the food. These items were simply delicious, filling, and we even had leftovers for Sunday lunch.
Win, win!!!

Great place to have a great brunch or breakfast. Had a fresh omelette with crispy potatoes and sour dough bread. Can't wait to visit again. People in my party had the cornbeef and potatoes. They loved every bit. Friendly server and very efficient!!
