We dropped in for our bi-annual trip through the area and we were NOT disappointed. The food was fresh, hot and tasty as always!! The staff was really excited about their new look and equipment in the lounge area and gave us a "tour" of some new items and explained how it will be an enhanced experience for customers. THANK YOU. You made us feel very welcome

When I need to set a meeting location I always choose Joe Sippers! Joe and desserts make any meeting go better. I am currently enjoying a flavorful cup of hylanders grog! Wonderful! Also serve sandwiches and salads!

We are located in the old bus station so our exterior is very unique, however inside you will find state of the art Tv's, sound system and Vegas style comfortable seating.

Staying in Effingham on our way back to Chicagoland. Read reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try the Gabby Goat for dinner. We were NOT disappointed! Good food and luvely atmosphere. Thursday’s special is Baby Back Ribs! Tender with just a hint of heat. Yum. Husband had the catfish po boy. More heat than he is used to but he didn’t leave even a bite. We even bought thier beer glasses.

When we are out of ideas to eat at lunch, and that we don't have much of time, Montrose Memorial Hospital Lobby Grille is our choice. Reliable, nice plate presentation, and fair pricing. They also offer take out, but it is nicer when we can eat there.

Enjoyed the breakfast so much we went back the very next morning! Do not leave this restaurant until you've eaten one of their homemade cinnamon rolls...or you'll regret it for the rest of your life! The wait staff is on top of their game.

Never mind the concept (which is inventive) the food at this little cafe was outstanding. The burger and onion rings could easily stand on it’s own when compared to any type of eatery. They also have pizza, soft serve ice cream and gourmet bottled soda. I’m both a foodie and a critic and they passed the test . Great experience!

Was visiting Effingham for a confrence and our group visited Firefly for dinner. The food is quite pricy but tasted out of this world. You can tell the food and ingrediants are very high quality. I had the spinach salad with grilled chicken added. I will look to come back here when I'm in the area again.

The Subway is a great addition to Dieterich. They have sandwiches made to order from fresh ingredients. They offer sandwich trays for large gatherings. The store is clean and the employees are friendly.

if you love frozen custard, Homewood Grill will become an instant favorite. the chocolate-covered cherry "shake & more" is one of my favorite frozen desserts. ever. the "Dole Whip" is also fantastic, if you're counting calories. this place is on my list of Top Ten local ice cream shops in America. and so ridiculously inexpensive. bring the whole family!!!

Loved this little gem...especially the beer garden where we played corn hole or "bags". The staff is very friendly and mixes a great drink! Also, the locals are very friendly.
