I stopped in for some takeout after work. Service was extremely slow. It took 30 minutes for a couple of sandwiches and fries. The cheeseburger was good, but the bbq sandwich was bland and had no flavor. There were several other customers waiting as long or longer as I waited. The food just wasn't worth the time it took to get it. I suggest that the manager add crew to improve the speed of service.

As with so many Chinese Buffets, Fortune Cookie's foods were NOT hot. In fact, the food was barely above room temperature. You pay before you eat, and service is nearly non-existent. Food items are limited, but aside from temperature they are fairly good. If you are in Monticello and you want Chinese, this is your only option.

Ate there Thu 06/08/2017 around 5pm. Restaurant is in a strip mall next to our hotel and came recommended by hotel staff. There is plenty of parking. We had no wait to be seated in their larger sized restaurant. Everything was very clean. We immediately noticed the art on the tables and on the wall - very nice. Chips and salsa were there within seconds after we sat down. A large menu offered a variety of items. I got a 4 enchilada meal that came with beans and rice. Also gulped down a few Mexican beers. All was good. Wife got a Chile Colorado meal which she did not like and did not eat. She then ordered a chicken taco to compensate. Not crazy about that either.
Our bill before tip was only $39.42 which I thought was about right. Wife did not agree.

They Are Also Buffet Style
Youngs always has delicious food at very reasonable prices. I love the fried chicken. It definitely tastes homemade. I also love the banana pudding. It's very delicious. The rolls and barbecue are also excellent. You won't find better food or better prices at any other restaurant in town.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Italian food. They offer many pasta dishes and pizza as well as a salad bar. Casual atmosphere although we saw some people who were dressed up dining there. We had pasta and as an Italian I judge Italian restaurants by their marinara/meat sauce. Mazzio's was excellent!

This was our first time to visit this restaurant. There are two sides available for seating. One side is near the outside door, and with the cold weather we preferred the other side. However, we quickly changed our mind due to the the messy tables that were full of papers and what appeared to be a make shift office.
We skipped the steaks due to the very high prices. Since they are known for bbq we ventured to the St Louis ribs and BBQ sandwich.
The meat was tender, but the BBQ taste wasn't very good. None of us ate more than 2 ribs and 1/2 of the sandwich.
The table next to us ordered onion rings. They were homemade and piled high.
Maybe we will give it a second chance. Just skip the BBQ.

Was pleasantly surprised! Was in Monticello visiting family and decided to give this restaurant a try. We had steak and shrimp which came with rice and beans. The steak was terrific and the shrimp very flavorful. The waitstaff was very pleasant. Save room for dessert...they have cheesecake!

'Cause licking the bowl may have been going too far, but I was tempted! Saying the food was so very good wouldn't be nearly descriptive enough. I wish I had better mastery of Thai food elements, so I could describe the intricacies of these dishes for you. I had the Aloha Chicken. It had wonderful flavor and just enough spice to feel it in your mouth without being overwhelming. My husband can't remember the name of the dish he had, but he enjoyed every last bite. It was a spicy chicken dish, though. 15 minutes later, he says his mouth is still burning ... that's a good thing to him.
Don't let the unassuming exterior and interior deter you from trying this restaurant. Trust me; I made that mistake for too long.

My family has been frequenting breaker since I was a child. Has always been good. Burgers are some of the best in town, i also enjoy the onion rings. It's basic drive-in type fast food so don't expect anything over the top. I typically find it easier to call in my order ahead

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch today. Upon entering, we were greeted promptly and in a friendly manner. We were seated immediately, and our server remained helpful, professional, and courteous throughout the dining experience. The lunch offerings were few: a lunch special, a few salads, and a few sandwiches, in addition to a couple of dessert options. My husband chose the Caesar salad with chicken, and I chose the French Dip sandwich with house made chips. My husband said his salad was good and was pleased with his choice. My sandwich was wonderful. The roast beef was moist and flavorful, and the melted swiss made a tangy addition, but it was the peppercorn aus jus that was the key. I really enjoyed the chips, as well. The downsides are the prices and the wait time for food. We weren't in a hurry, so this was not a problem today, but if this had been a lunch break from work, we might have returned late. Our two plates plus tea and water was just under $25. The atmosphere was interesting with the historical pictures of Monticello. I was hoping the drinking cups would have been actual glass, as they look like glasses but are only plastic. I assume they purchased these from the previous owner, and I was always disappointed in this choice. There is a possibility of us returning for future visits.
