One of my choices for ribs. Good size servicing and great service. While you wait for your order, peanuts are served and the floor is covered with peanut shells giving it a very rustic feel. Love the cord bread too.

As expected. Consistent with other reviews. Had lesser steak-house experiences and much higher prices. Good value for the money. Highly recommend.

I ate here with a colleague while in the area on business, and it was absolutely delicious. We had the bacon-wrapped scallops on a bed of polenta and chicken marsala and both were so, so good - I mean really good. Every bite was so savory, and everything was perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent!

We had been away and had just gotten home after a long airplane ride so we just wanted an easy meal. I had pastrami melt & my wife had the steak salad with a glass of wine. We had good, prompt service and all the food was great.

The first time we tried this restaurant the wait was too long. This time we got a table. A very busy and noisy place. The serving staff was nice but very busy. Minor things, like our wine, was forgotten until they were reminded. The food was good. We couldn't get a server's attention so my wife walked over to an empty table to get salt & pepper.

On New Year’s Day, we were visiting relatives in Monrovia CA, and for dinner enjoyed BJ’s RESTAURANT & BREWHOUSE in Arcadia CA. We ordered the Crispy Calamari appetizer, then the Jalapeno Burger with a veggie patty, a Black & Blue Burger, a Southern Comfort Chicken Sandwich, a BBQ Bacon Burger with Lettuce Wrap and Sweet Potato Fries, and a Portabello Mushroom Burger. The hamburgers were perfectly cooked, service was quick and efficient, and prices were reasonable. Great selection of beers. Definitely recommended.

At mid-morning on a Thursday, this place was jammed packed. Interesting to note how many visitors/tourists were there. You would think they would want someplace more glamorous or touristy. I guess everyone is looking for good food at a reasonable price. We split a breakfast burrito. It was OK, but plain. The salsa was bland but OK. The service staff really hustled the orders and obviously were good at flipping the tables quickly.

We've been wanting to try this restaurant for months - and we finally got our chance a couple of weeks ago. It's a very small, very clean and very cute place and the food is well, less than ordinary. I ordered goulash and my husband ordered stroganoff ... two standards. The goulash was made with good, fork tender meat (assume beef but could not tell) but had no flavor and was served with penne pasta as the noodle. Penne basta, probably Barilla ... while I expected egg noodles or spatezle. Hubby's stroganoff was equally unremarkable. Service as great - as it you might expect in a place with only 6 tables. We hoped a good dessert would tip the scales a little more to the positive side but the only dessert was ice cream.

Been to this establishment several times and have tried a variety of the items on the menu. I've never been disappointed. Also enjoy the Chihuly type glass sculptures on the ceiling. Enjoyed several of the three-course meals and they were pretty flexible about substitutions.

Mimi's is your go to place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a great email program and send coupons every week. The food is always plentiful and tasty. They also serve wine and beer and now are serving basic cocktails. We usually go in the early afternoon and always get seated right away. This restaurant is good for meeting friends or family for an enjoyable meal.
