Sky River Bakery is on Main Street in the middle of the block. Seems that the owners are there working? I'm now a return customer every time I get to Monroe. A local bakery serving fresh homemade products, they have some inside seating for couples and one small table for four. People always coming and going. Quiche is the usual choice for me, but Morning Glory Muffin is my favorite. Get the muffin if only passing through once. Will return.

First of all, it was quite confusing concerning the two different brewery names. We actually thought this was the brewery as this was stated in their name. However, we found out later after we left that the actual brewery is next door and labeled as Twin Rivers Brewery. With that being said, Adams was a nice place and with very good service. We stuck to the happy hour menu and was able to sample three of their meals which were so very yummy. We had the fried calamari, cornmeal oysters, and the bacon cheese fries. Yum! For our beverages we had the house nut brown and the halfwit, which were ok, but not spectacular.

OK, the only thing that makes individual stores different is really the people. This gang is warm and friendly, remembering me when I come through. It is clean, and the product is consistent. When I want a extra hot, nonfat latte, I get it without scorched milk. Nice place to stop.

My husband and I drove 50 miles to try this place in Monroe, WA. It was a great dining experience. Small, quaint place, wasn't to spendy, and the portions are enough for 2 meals. The service was excellent, the food was good, and their baklava ice cream was to die for. The drinks were also surprisingly lower than other restaurants. We had a great experience, and even tipped the server $20. We spoke with the manager, and thanked them for a great dining experience. Will definitely be back.

While visiting friends in the area, we stayed at a hotel adjacent to Henry's and had several people suggest that we try their donuts. My wife was celebrating her birthday while we were there, so I got her some very well made donuts at Henry's. I was also very impressed with the staff at the Evergreen Inn & Suites, so I went back and purchased a special 1/2 dozen Bacon/Maple Long Johns for the staff. They LOVED them!

The Pilot house is a cozy retreat from the crowds. Sit on a comfy couch and enjoy a cup of their own roasted coffee. Have a cookie or if you are lucky a roll in the am. They go fast though so don't be late. Yummy coffee in a real cup.

New Year's Eve: It was our first time in Monroe, and we found ourselves with some morning time to kill. We had heard of Henry's (from T.A.), but apparently, ole' Hank needed three (count them, 3) weeks off for the holidays. What to do? We walked into Fresh and Fancy and discovered that it was open (albeit short hours, due to NYE). The selection wasn't great, but we settled on a raspberry turnover. Holy, Crow! It was the best turnover in the history of things being turned over! I can't imagine doing better at Henry's even if he does come back to work. Try this place, and try the raspberry turnover. You'll be glad you did.

Benjarong Thai is located in the Monroe Plaza on Hwy 2. The food is authentic Thai and the service is very good. The place is fairly crowded during lunch hour but the wait time is minimal, almost non-existent. The prices are moderate costing less than $10 for any entree. The dessert, mango ice-cream is on the house. So is the coleslaw.

We stopped in for a quick bite on our way home from Leavenworth and were not expecting the incredible quality of service we received! I am not expert on Mexican food but I thought it was delicious and reasonably priced... but the best part was the service. Throughout our meal, we were checked on by numerous staff members who all seemed to work as a team.
Whomever is leading this place is hiring great people and creating an awesome culture for staff. Kudos to the staff for working so hard and working so well together.
Highly recommend!
