If you love a diner atmosphere and diner-style grub, this is the best place in Vail.
We've eaten breakfast here a number of times and we love sitting at the counter. The little kitchen runs like a sort of diner ballet and it's thoroughly entertaining to watch.
There's always a wait, but it's worth it. It's quicker if you're willing to take a counter spot.
They have an awesome staff that is always so, so nice, even when the place is packed. The owner/executive chef always seems to be present.
We've eaten a variety of menu items here and you just can't go wrong. We're still talking about my husband's Dutch Baby that he ordered the first time we were here. They are absolutely HUGE!!!
If you're in Vail, you have to eat at least one breakfast here. On our recent three-night stay we ate there twice!

Enjoy panoramic views, contemporary Colorado cuisine, award winning wine menu, fantastic service and live dinner music. A crackling fireplace sets the mood. Chef David Gutowski was recently invited to present dinner at The James Beard House in Manhattan where he cooked each course with Colorado meats, cheeses fish and produce. The dinner was sold out before it hit the calendar. Come and enjoy the cuisine of this rising star!
Truly an upscale meal. The brussel sprout app was amazing, and the flat bread and tater tots were not far behind. Entrees were creative and delicious. Try the pretzel crusted pork or the veal. Both were fabulous.

Came here for a late lunch and was quite disappointed with the food.
We had the lasagne which was the special of the day. The texture was very mushy, the noodle was cooked way too long. It was probably sitting for a few hours as we arrived at 2pm.
We also had the veal piccata with lemon sauce served with pasta. The sauce was lacking in flavour which made the pasta bland tasting.
Service was good.

The Turntable Restaurant is a family friendly restaurant serving American comfort food in a casual atmosphere. Located in the characteristic Town of Minturn, we're open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch.
Just what Vail Valley needed! So delicious and so reasonably priced. A must for anyone seeking a great breakfast experience (Europeans who love American breakfasts will be particularly delighted with Turntable). Absolutely delicious and well-priced comfort food and excellent, friendly service. The skillet brekkies (great...MoreHello VillaArneis! Enjoyed dinner at Annapurna! Food and service were both excellent. The restaurant is located in the Evergreen Lodge at Vail, so it's easy to find, and there is plenty of free parking. Prices were reasonable, and portion sizes were large! Would definitely return when I am in Vail!

The food is best in Beaver Creek and probably amongst many restaurants in the world.
Wine list: comprehensive; try a Chateau Neuf du Pape.
Appetizers: try Four Gras, Scallops Crudeaux and the Parsley Soup. Al are exceptional.
Entrees: we have all ordered NY steak. The one that asked for Medium got the Rare. The steak was 6 out of 10. We had the same at Lancelot (9/10) and Vintage (9.5/10) in Vail and both were better by a long shot. Our steak must have come from a 40 year old cow...
Pity... the restaurant is great.
Deserts: the Soufle is amazing. Recovered the rating.

Established in 2002, The Westside Cafe quickly became a local's favorite. 11 Years later, The Westside Cafe has won numerous awards and accolades for their consistently great food & service. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in a relaxed, olde Colorado themed atmosphere. Great for one or for the entire family, kids are welcome. Consciously priced, amazing value, The Westside Cafe!
While in Vail for a wedding my husband and I came across this restaurant for breakfast. I can't even remember how many types of Eggs Benedict they offered but it was a lot and the several I tried were DELISH!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Huge mugs of coffee/tea. Large servings! Huge cinnamon rolls!!! Dog friendly tie ups (like a horse in a western) with water dishes on their outside front porch. Only con is that they share restrooms with the Mexican restaurant next door. Not a big enough reason to miss out on this Cafe!

Stopped into this local's favorite about a week ago with some friends and how stoked I was to find a locals favorite with out all the Resort mark up. Food was great and service was as good. Beers were cold and there were lots to chose from. Full bar with lots of TV's for sports viewing and inside and outside dining.

Good burgers, decent drinks. More of a dive bar for mountain hipsters (we are oldsters). Still, we'd go back if a burger is something we're after. Service pretty good. Outdoor seating is inviting and gets you away from the pool table where the hipsters are dropping F bombs.
