We love this middle eastern restaurant. The bread is great, the lamb, the chicken, the hummus, the falafel, the salads. It's all so good. We try to eat there at least 2x a month. And we will over 20 miles from this restaurant. Well worth the drive

Homemade Ice Cream with many flavors to choose from. Also has an outside seating area.
Ice cream was good but way overpriced. 4 single cones came to $18, Worker was not very friendly. Waffle cones were good. Lots of flavors. Nice outside eating area.

A great selection of 48 different craft beers!
Have tried Dunwelz before and had a GREAT meal. Went back as I was once again in Charlotte.
I tried the Cajun Jambalaya. I also selected the spicy option. Let me tell you; it was SPICY!! The spicy option is not for the faint of heart.
I thoroughly enjoyed it along with great service.
My sister had the Carolina Catfish and chips. It too was excellent.
Give this place a try - you will not be disappointed

On four different occasions, went in for various ice cream confectionery.
No Bananas fir Banana Splits, always out of waffle cones.
Ice cream has ice crystals.
Donuts are stale.
Cronuts: $ 2.75 each? And they were awful.
Must have a high turnover rate of staff, or they lack training.
Save your money.

Said it before and will say it again; anytime you mix great staff, great food and great service, you've got a winner! The Hill continues to prove my theory.
While in town last week I was pleased to make it to The Hill several times. Sometimes they were crazy busy and sometimes it was laid back, but on all the visits my opinion was the same - excellent! It's just a genuine great place.
The food this week (wings, fried pickles, hot dogs, wedge salad and the Reuben) were all great and it was good to see the awesome staff again - Brittany, Ashley, Marissa and some new ladies. And we understand they've lost some ladies (Becca & Riley) and we wish them well. You could not ask for a friendlier staff and the owner (David) will usually come by to make sure you're happy. Can't ask for better service than that!
The Hill is a consistently awesome place with a big heart that's easy to make your "home away from home". Give it a try - we think you'll agree.
Cheers,
L&J

I’ve been to the restaurant a number of times while traveling, always a middle of the road Cain I would say. This last visit was not good, the seating was so close together everyone was bumping elbows, the actual seats are about as comfortable as church pews. The Bang Bang shrimp is a seafood version of buffalo wings, shrimp was tasteless. The seared Tuna steak had NO flavor whatsoever, previously frozen and poor quality.

Breakfast at Showmars, Mint Hill
After an early doc appointment, we decided to have breakfast at Showmars. Showmars Mint Hill is nice and has good food including breakfast. I got the scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, and toast. My husband got the scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I tasted his hash browns and they were okay, nothing to write home about.
The eggs were good and bacon was cooked crispy. My grits were good, but a little watery and was just a bowlful. Compared to Sunrise, the grits could have been better. At Sunrise half of your plate is covered with grits and they are creamy and thicker and taste much better than Showmars.
We still like Showmars, just maybe not for breakfast.

We offer an upscale wine bar experience with an eclectic and welcoming atmosphere with a variety of unique wines and craft beers everyone can enjoy. With 24 wines on tap in our temperature-controlled, one-of-a kind Cruvinet, and large outdoor patio, come see for yourself why Vintner’s Hill is the “Best Night in Town.”
My husband and I love this place and we are so thankful they opened in Mint Hill. The draft beer, wine, salads, sandwiches and appetizers are really good as is the service. The only negative is finding a seat on their busy nights. Wish their indoor space was a bit larger.

Dine-in and takeout lunch and dinner 7 days a week! Authentic New York style pizza pie, pasta, wings, salads, heroes, sandwiches, wraps, classic Italian cuisine, gluten free options and the list goes on for so much more!
The people here are nice, but the food is just OK. I have had alot of pizza from all over and this is not the best New York Style pizza I've ever had. The crust has been tough everytime I have gotten a pizza from...MoreWe thank you for your feedback and have passed on your concern about our crust to our head chef. We are always striving to improve and hope to see you back in the future.
