Hubby and I went on Oct 28 for their Halloween Party (8-11pm). We arrived a little after 8pm to an almost empty bar. There were 2 bartenders and about 10 patrons (some outside on the patio). We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks, waiting for more people to show up. The band, Stone Jack Ballers, was scheduled to start playing at 8:30. They started up at 8:40. They were decent, but the music was very mellow-not what you would think for a "party" on Halloween. A few more patrons showed up, bringing the total to about 15.
I was getting hungry, so I ordered the "crisp calamari" which sounded good. It arrived and I dug in. It was not crisp at all, sort of mushy on the outside (microwaved maybe?). The dipping sauce was on the bottom of the plate, which made the calamari even more mushy. It was also served with edamame, of which there were 11 beans (I counted) and on top was some fresh greenery, and there were bits of bleu cheese sprinkled (sparingly) about. Overall, it was mushy and extremely bland. The sauce-I could not identify the overall flavor (it was advertised as browned butter, but it was so bland). They charged $13 for the dish which was way over-priced.
I had 3 drinks, my husband had 2 and with the calamari our bill was almost $60! Do the math and you will find the drinks waaay overpriced at almost $10 each!
Several patrons left before the costume contest judging, which was at 9:30. I'm sure they were headed to a more lively party elsewhere. Shortly after the judging, we finished our drinks and went home.
Overall, it was very disappointing. The bartender refused to make a pina colada (wouldn't say why) and for my last drink, he said they were out of Jack Daniels....really? Who runs out of that?
Overpriced drinks, mediocre food, lackluster atmosphere. You can do much better elsewhere!!!

If you love coffee and baked goods this is a must see place. They had awesome cookies and the coffee was on point. It's a little off the beaten path but totally worth that extra mile drive.

What can you expect from a Diary Queen in a gas station inside the convenience store connected to a liquor store. Service is hit and miss Ice cream and shakes are usually okay.

A modern Cafe and Espresso Bar catering to the local and out of town guest of Milford, De. Our establishment will offer fresh and delicious baked goods, coffee beverages along with some cold iced treats and an array of sandwiches.
It is difficult to find because it is in a strip mall that is at an intersection and you can go past it and not realize it is there. Since reading the reviews I have looked for it several times unsuccessfully but drove very slow and found it today. The atmosphere is very nice. Clean, homey, friendly. They have smoothies, coffee, coffee lattes, and many drink selections. They have fresh pastry selections and bagels. They recently added soup to their menu but sandwiches or salads are not available so it is basically like a starbuck's. The furniture is very clean looking and there is a TV on the wall. Very nice and of course I got a large latte for $4.25 but it was excellent. Friendly service. Environmentally friendly cups.

6 of us went here for dinner and it was delightful, we started with appetizers, the butternut squash soup was the best soup I have ever eaten, our entrees were excellent, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant is a family owned establishment using their own homemade recipes, this restaurant is very clean and refreshing. Will definitely go back.

We drive down the Eastern shore to Virginia Beach a number of times a year. We stopped in the later evening for dinner. Service was incredibly slow although the restaurant was far from busy, there were maybe five tables eating. We got the impression we were putting them out. We even struggled to get a check. The food was average at best and a little pricey for what you are getting. The oysters Rockefeller could use some work. They were unlike any others I have had across the country and they were unpleasantly spicy. Next time I dive through the area I'll find someplace else to eat.

Everything was good! Sunday special is double loyalty points but they did not have any cards left????? When I asked if today's visit could be added if I saved my receipt and I was told no they are not allowed to do that. Think they need to reconsider their policy to make it fair. Will have to consider if we will go back to this one again.

Yes, actually our FIRST ever Grotto visit for both my wife and I! Just never stopped in. Anyway, the pizza IS as good as we were always told it was, we had the pepperoni and plain cheese slices, and when our server came to check on us we ordered 2 more slices. It's legitimately that good. We even thought we would stop on the way home and get a large cheese pizza to take for dinner the following night but ran out of time on our trip. But next time down in a few weeks we'll be hitting Grotto again! Busy (Saturday night), but we sat right away and they were quick and friendly!

Because of the restaurant fairly local, in my zone, waited for multiple visits, both dine-in,
& take - out before the review. Consistency: the friendly, eager to please wait staff. If anything, boss they are All being productive in their peripheral chores, let them reeeelax a lil, & enjoy their job behind the scenes.
The food has good value & quality of ingredients. Sandwiches consistent always. Large pre- reserved parties, or even events out back tend to stress the front of the house a bit, including atmosphere, & diners “outside of reservation/ event” Need to be a PRIORITY with the Kitchen & Mgmt in 2018..
Big recent issue- daytime , very good pizza, fresh, moist, quality & quantity, not over baked @ all, sauce & ingredients to the edges.
Night time. Less ingredients , drier., not moist.. less care or pizza making talent hmm,
I don’t know. I am Still a day time patron.
