Our mission is to create a world class dining experience that celebrates the past while providing the best craft beer, food, entertainment, customer service and unique atmosphere available anywhere today. Our team of passionate craft beer enthusiasts firmly believes in making great beer that is fun and approachable. We know that putting a smile on your face is just as important as putting a beer in your hand, and our ultimate goal is to become a major regional craft brewery in the Northeast. We know that if our building could talk it would speak of rugged workers who got by on the determination in their hearts, the strength of their backs and the dirt on their hands. We proudly dedicate every ounce of our beer to those whose efforts have forged the American work ethic. So grab a cold one and pay tribute to the past by making the most of the present!
Our family had as nicer night out here a couple days after Christmas. The restaurant is separated into several different areas, including the bar, game area and multiple seating areas. There is also outdoor seating with a fireplace. You can also get a good view of the brewing area.
The restaurant was nicely renovated and there is plenty of seating. They have a really nice menu selection and have many rusty rails, and others, beers to choose from.
We had a number of entrees and kids meals. The sandwiches, apps, and salads were very good. The burgers were okay, but didn't have much flavor. The kids mostly enjoyed their meals as well.
Overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere and our meals. However, it did take awhile to get our meals, which ultimately led to some antsy kids.

I travel around central PA for my work, and try all the ice cream stops, and there are quite a few. But they must all measure up to Amy's Frosty Freeze. While many are good, Amy's is the top for me. Each week there are different special flavors, that are great, especially the twisted ones, plus size and price can't be beat. Try it when passing thru the area or wanting to take the kids out for a treat.

I will say I was surprised as this was not what I expected. I first thought it would be some little sort of typical coffee shop. The cafe was open and really cute. I was surprised it was sort of part of the store, but actually that made it nice. We were able to stroll through after eating. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was always very friendly.
The breakfast food I had wasn't bad. I had a sandwich on a pretzel roll, and wasn't a fan of the roll. It was a sweet roll instead of salty, and I prefer salty on a pretzel sandwich. The hash brown side dish was great. Shredded and cooked to be a little crispy, and seasoned on the spicier side. Price was reasonable. I didn't rate higher as the food was good but pretty typical for breakfast.
I would be curious to come back for lunch, as some of their salads and soups sounded great. That may influence a higher school. I would check it out again for sure.

The Gable House Bakery has become my Saturday Morning habit. After I wake up, I can't wait to head out to get my homemade bagels. And while I'm there, I usually pick-up a few other pastries as well.
It's not a large bakery where you would expect to find many different kinds of doughnuts, five or six different "flavored" coffees and a barista creating art work on your foam topped beverage. No.... this is a down home bakery specializing in a handful of Dutch style pastries. Expect to find homemade cheesecake, eclairs or powder puffs behind their chilled counter. Every Saturday I find something new and exciting to buy along with my bagels, last weekend it was a Cherry Tart that was out of this world fantastic!
Even though it's small inside, there are seats and a table or two if you're interested in relaxing, eating there and having a hot tea or coffee to go along with your freshly made pastry. I've even seen a few people with laptops so I expect they have free WiFi for your morning enjoyment. And for those who can't get out of bed as early as me, they have afternoon hours as well.
Whatever it is that you enjoy, stop at this small town, friendly bakery and try their goods. It's not hard to find... just look for the large American flag on one side of their front door and another that says "OPEN" on the other side. To me, both flags say "Welcome."

Elizabeth’s is a true upscale bistro with casual dress, complete with good, hearty food made from the freshest ingredients. Our 110+ bottle wine list is sure to please any wine connoisseur. We have earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2003. Located in the heart of the historic district of downtown Lewisburg, our 85 seat, non-smoking restaurant is the place where people go for a lively night out. Our wine bar has over 18 wines by the glass, as well as a full service bar. The wine bar area is just the place to watch the chefs prepare each plate to order in the open-kitchen and enjoy happy hour with friends. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
This place can be dangerous to your health. They do not honor requests concerning food sensitivities/allergies. Be forewarned!
We arrived on a Sat. night with a reservation well in advance for two people. We were placed next to a boisterous party of ten. The noise was deafening. I heard a man seated nearby shout, "next time let's just have dinner at home!" Indeed.
I made a very clear request to our waitress that I needed to avoid any onions or garlic. I told her it wouldn't kill me, but it would make life miserable. She said she communicated that to the chef. We asked for a glass of wine, and we were told they were very busy with the party of ten. Thirty five minutes later, I literally chased down a waiter and begged them to give us our glasses of wine. One hour and fifteen minutes later I received my meal---completely covered in garlic sauce. Not just the fish, but all the vegetables, too. The waitress said, someone other than the chef must have prepared my meal. Who would that be??? She offered to start over, but at this point, I had had enough of Elizabeth's. I was too darn hungry to wait for them to start over.
It was very disappointing, because we had had a really nice lunch there a year ago, so we made a special effort to get a reservation there after a long day of driving. It was a horrible experience. But...don't worry, they still charged us full freight on a toxic meal.

I had the Willy Plate...which is 2 burgers with fries or onion rings ($8!) and a waffle cone with twist ice cream for dessert. The burgers were perfectly done and topped correctly, the horseradish dipping sauce for the onion rings was amazing and the cone was absolutely enormous ($3!)
Chilly's is a great little place on down 'the valley.' Friendly staff, excellent prices and solid food options.

I camp nearby often on weekends and we always take a several mile bike ride on Sundays to have lunch here. We get Italian subs and strombolis, soooo good. They are an authentic Italian family and it tastes like it. Fast, good service and inexpensive.

Went to lunch here with a group of friends. The food was very well prepared, was as described on the menu, and was attractively presented. The service was prompt, polite, and professional. Despite the number of us in attendance, our server had no difficulty remembering what each of us ordered and what side dishes and desserts were included with our varied orders. Prices might be a bit more than what one would ordinarily pay for a workday lunch, but worth every penny, considering the quality of the food, the adequacy of portions provided, as well as the dedicated attention of the staff and server. The restaurant is situated in a building constructed as a residence; so, its dining areas are very comfortable and homelike -- not the usual crowded and noisy commercial / institutional .setting -- and we were not rushed to finish our lunches and leave to make room for others. I stop short of giving the place an Excellent rating, only because I prefer to reserve that higher rating for restaurants situated in more rural settings with scenic views. This restaurant, located on a main drag just outside of city limits, lacks that one attribute. Otherwise, it is a very nice place to enjoy excellent food and to focus on socializing with your dining companions on special occasions.
