Great quick stop to pick up your favorites. Although the location provides simple meals it is also a general store for purchasing those favorite Amish specialties. I always stock up on my favorite peach salsa and peach butter jam. Prices are a bit high if you are comparing them to retail store prices but the taste is worth the little bit higher price.

First I want to applaud their family and Christian values as they do not open on Sunday. Second, come hungry. You can choose to eat either family style or off the menu. Family style eating offers endless amounts of meats and sides. Menu dining gives...MoreHello Debi! We are so pleased to receive your review and to have earned your patronage! Ok we eat here about every week! Daryl is very friendly and his wife can cook, she even wrote a cookbook. Love the friendly atmosphere and normally everything is good beside I don't care for grilled cheese! loved the Italian sandwich! Deb is known for her fruit cakes which I'm not a fruit cake lover but apple dumplings are great! clean & good

Small diner in town, very tasty, friendly waitresses (who chat, banter and joke). Limited menu (burgers, sandwich, soup, salad). Hubby had special of beef manhattan, said was very tasty and plentiful. I had grilled cheese and ham, crispy and tasty could use more cheese. Peach cream cheese pie was out of this world tho $3.50 seems a lot, cuz it would be like $18 for whole pie at that rate! Strange that bathrooms up a flight of stairs (tho very clean). I don't care but what do disabled people do. Again, very clean, friendly and tasty food.

A delightful stop on our trip in Amish country-run by family who start baking at 2:30 in the morning I was told so they can be open for sales at 5 am.
Breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, noodles, honey, gluten free items, all packaged and ready to buy and take home-be prepared to want it all!!! I got a little of each grouping.

The look of a folksy, small town diner without the service. We actually sat a while, with the waitress waking by more than once, before we figured out it was a order-at-the-counter place. You'd think someone would say something. There is a small "Order here" sign, but it's easy to miss. Pricing is mid-range, and food is average. The baked goods smelled good when we came in, so maybe that is their thing.

This is the worst Dairy Queen my husband & I have ever eaten at. The Food order was wrong, they did not ask if we wanted our ice cream later, so they bring it out before our food and it was literally melted everywhere before we got to eat it. The air conditioning was either on very high temperature or broke, very uncomfortable in the restaurant. The tables were dirty, the floor was sticky from pop. Just not a good dining experience at this D. Q. The Restaurant has been updated inside but does not look like they try to keep it clean, the managers that day were just sitting at a table talking. Restrooms were dirty also.

We were in Middlebury for business and decided to try
west on Warren based on TripAdvisor ratings and a recommendation from our hotel. The restaurant is located in an older home/business that has been remodeled recently. The decor is very nice. It was a nice early Fall day and we opted to sit on the patio, Great decision! Plenty of space between tables that allowed us to talk "shop" and not worry about being overheard. I had one of their made from scratch margaritas and it was great! not too sweet like ones made from a mix. Definitely fresh ingredients. Had their soup of the day, cream of potato and it too was very good. For my entree I had the strip steak. Small steak but, plenty for me. My associate had the daily special of tacos and he too though thought his meal was very good.
Overall, it was a great experience. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The menu is limited but, all the items we had were very well executed. This is a restaurant worth traveling to!

Coffee shop with some sandwiches and salads. Coffee was good, sandwiches were made fresh to order. Service was ok. Come in through the back door, it's inside a furniture shop-less you get followed by the sales department.
