Just across from the convention center. Going just before 5:30 makes the wait much quicker. Otherwise plan on more than a half hour wait. Anything in the menu is delicious. We will go again next year when in town for the Flower and Garden Show.

Welcome At Bennett's we are committed to serving authentic, original food. You won't find artificial preservatives, colors or sweeteners. No flavor enhancers, hydrogenated oils or processed foods. What you will find, are the freshest, most authentic ingredients we can offer. Most of our ingredients are deeply rooted in the Cascadia region - an area extending from northern California to southern Alaska, and the coast to the continental divide, taking in Washington, most of Oregon and Idaho and part of Montana. We buy from producers who share our commitment to whole foods and handmade fare. People dedicated to the simple pleasures of creating delicious food and drink the way it was intended to be made; fresh from the earth, the sea and the vine.
It's a warm and sunny day around 6:45pm. People are seated outside. Looks busy inside. Noisy with lots of conversation and loud background music.
Took a seat at the bar. Friendly bartender. Uncomfortable seating. Not enough leg room. Nothing to rest your feet on.
Warm water served. 5 beers on tap. Plenty of wines to choose from and several pricey cocktails. I got the pilsner. Ice cold.
It's Sunday, therefore it's burger night! 4 different meat patties to choose from. I got the double waygu beef with cheese and avocado $13. Side of Mac 'n Cheese $3 (special). Burger was over cooked and not very tasty. I've had much better burgers for a lot less cost. Mac 'n Cheese was the best I've had.
Servers friendly but slow. Perhaps those full tables are drawing them away from the lone guy sitting at the bar nursing his beer?
Would I come back? Not sure. The beer is cold but I can get a lot of beer at the grocery store or the local wine & beer outlet for what I pause for a couple cold ones.

I have had a chance to eat at a few of the Din Tai Fungs. They are very consistent and food is just amazing. It is reasonably priced for the quality. Suggest trying Garlic Green beans, Port wonton, shaved ice and fruits desert.

Stopped in with a friend for a quick lunch and brews. I had the pot roast sandwich, which was excellent, my friend had the French dip which was by all accounts just as good. They had a good selection of draft beer to complement the fare.
The historic tavern is a must visit. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive.

John Howie Steak - a downtown Bellevue favorite. Located in the Bravern near 405 (freeway) off of 8th Ave. A great happy hour with a near famous cheeseburger, bar and lounge open till 11pm or midnight. Fine dining in the dining room. Lunch is quite reasonable ($12-$15 entreees) and delicious. Premium steakhouse for lunch meetings, dates or of course any occasion for dinner. Private dining rooms available as well. Catering available. A fine dining restaurant with more casual options for lunch, happy hour, the bar and lounge.
There is no question that this is a quality restaurant in some aspects. Food and service outstanding, no detail overlooked. We were there on a non-holiday evening, and the place was packed---bar and restaurant. Our servers were quite attentive and friendly. Our rating is four...MoreI am very pleased to tell you the service charge has been removed! Stopped by here for fish and chips which were very tasty. This market is in an old gas station with it's only priority is to sell fish and basic eats. Not a fancy place, but if you're in the neighborhood and want a quick bite or some fresh fish at normal prices - it's worth a stop.

We had a group of about 20 for dinner. Our arranged dinner was apparently booked at the El Gaucho Seattle and we showed up at Bellevue location - oops! The staff quickly set up one of their private rooms for us and we encountered very little hassle. The name led us to believe it was a regional cuisine type however it’s really a steak house. The food was tasty, plenty of good veggies and the bourbon chocolate dessert was raved about.

We loved this place! Very cute and cozy, with plenty of choices for vegetarians. We got the mezze platter, the falafel salad, and the fool moudamas. Everything was delicious, and the wine was also great (especially for the price)! Not to mention, the service was outstanding. Our server made us feel like family. I highly, highly recommend!
