Great restaurant for family dinning. Reasonable prices, large portions and lots of variety on the menu. Service was quick and friendly. Tasty! Served hot! Plenty of napkins, friendly staff.

This is an oak table, Internet connected, small coffee shop where you can grab a sandwich, browse the internet and never go wrong. Occasionally they host musical events in the late afternoon or evening. Every town needs a local favorite gathering place and this is Medford's very own cafe.

Moosie's Ice Cream Parlor, serves hand scooped premium Cedar Crest ice cream in cake cups, waffle cones, or a dish. We also have a variety of Moose treats (named after Moose our beloved mascot), Sundaes, Malts, Shakes, and Floats. Throughout the day and especially each morning you can come to get a cup of hot or cold coffee, latte, cappuccino, or espresso. Each day we have a flavor of the day and fresh baked scones. Our hours can vary so when the light is on, we are OPEN.
Moose's ice cream is good and it's a great summertime treat. Recently, Moosie's announced they were going to have coffee drinks in the morning. The coffee drinks aren't Starbucks or coffee house quality, but a close second in a small town with only gas station coffee available. Their pastries could be better and aren't anything special.

We visited the High View on a very busy night. The place was crowded and noisy. Our food was served in the correct order but was nothing outstanding. Pretty standard stuff for a local dinner spot. The specialties were prime rib and ribs (which they were out of) I had the salmon which was fine. The bar keep was very friendly and helpful. Again, when we were there it was very crowded and staff was clearly struggling to keep up. They all seemed friendly so I would give them another chance.

Eighth Street is one of the best neighborhood spots I've been to in my travels. Locals clearly frequent the restaurant and bar often. We arrived on a Friday evening - enjoyed the fish fry. Offerings include great craft/small brewery beers and sodas. Great for families as well as couples. I plan on going back when in Medford area. There is an option for outside dining (in appropriate weather!) with an large deck. Specials daily as most is local catch and farmed.

We were in town looking for something different for breakfast and came across this little Jewell. We almost passed it when we drove by. We didn't expect it to be adjacent to a gas station even though the name Filling Station Cafe should've been the big clue! When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff. We took a seat by the fireplace which was nice on this particularly cold morning. It is a very small cafe but seating wasn't a problem the day we visited. We even enjoyed watching the tv while eating our meal. Jean, our server, took very good care of us. We both decided on their veggie omelet. It came with your choice of either hash browns or a potato cake and toast. We both chose the potato cake. I opted for raisin toast instead of the wheat my husband chose. Our omelets were great. Everything was hot and fresh. The potato cake was huge! We really enjoyed their homemade strawberry jam. It was delicious. I am a big fan of raisin toast and theirs was some of the best I've ever eaten. The raisin toast was much thicker than I'm accustomed to and was very good. We were very glad we dropped by and dined here. I hope you will give them a try too! Ask for Jean, she will take real good care of you! :)

It Is The Main Street Through Medford. Take Hwy 29 To Abetsford Frm Wausau, Turn Right And Continue On To Medford.phil And Eleanor's Is On Your Left Just Before Entering The City.
We had a group of ten with reservations and were very happy with the service and the food. The bartender was very knowledgeable and the bar had an outstanding selection of whisky and wine. Our table server was very professional, knew the menu and offered helpful suggestions. Some of our group had steaks and some had fish. Everything was delicious and delivered properly. I would give this place very high marks.

I recently moved to Medford, and I understand that this restaurant is quite new. I have been there three times, once with a date. Parking in their tiny front lot is a challenge, but the food is worth it. I had a delicious golden margarita each time. The food is good; I appreciate the attention to details. The refried beans were especially good, which was a surprise because every Mexican restaurant has refried beans. The entrees were also very enjoyable.

Service was polite and prompt. The roast beefs are better than anything at McDonald's any day. I personally live the beef and chedder, my wife goes for their Market Fresh sandwiches.

This is mostly a very good catering business, but they run lunches on Thursday for under $7 which include a drink, one of two entree's, side veggie usually and small desert. They have lots of carry outs for these lunches. It seats perhaps 25 people. Located in an old fire house with simple setting and great food.
