Attended the afternoon Bluegrass Underground concert, and we were quite hungry afterward. Headed to downtown McMinnville and saw that Collins had good reviews.
We were not disappointed. Cozy, not fussy bench booths and a few counter seats. Seated and greeted immediately.
Great choice of draft and bottled beer. Lots of local breweries represented.
We ordered two main entrees with sides. Half rack of ribs and a brisket plate. Baked sweet and white potatoes were perfect. Greens were great and a cornbread salad good. Both plates were served with cornbread.
Desserts looked amazing, but we were too full to participate.
Our bill was under $40. Woohoo.
Heartily recommend, and we have tried bbq all over the country.

We are a plant based cafe with a full juice bar also feature wheatgrass. We have our own recipes but you may create your own juice. We offer protein/energy bars, lunch including soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and specials of the day. We strive in teaching our community that healthy can be delicious! We also offer FREE juice for cancer patients while in treatment and before procedures. Both owners are cancer survivors and owner Mary Beth Laxson's story was also featured in the the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead 2!
Right in the middle of town, this cozy little place serves up some of the tastiest and healthiest wraps and smoothies I've ever experienced! AND ... a VERY COOL thing they do is treat breast cancer survivors and fighters to free green smoothies. There's a big jar there for donations and the generous folks of McMinnville seem to keep it filled all the time! You can get wi-fi for free, sit at quaint and attractive little tables and maybe see the mayor come in!

A locally owned and operated hip place in the heart of historical downtown McMinnville where family & friends can connect through delicious food, sweet treats, & good times!
We came here after our visit to Cumberland Caverns. It was recommended by our tour guide. We split the Hot Dottie. The ghost pepper cheese provided a nice spicy kick. The loaded baked potato salad is not to be missed. Do yourself a favor and visit the other side to get a frozen yogurt to finish off a yummy meal.

You can never go wrong at Depot Bottom. The staff is wonderful and so is the food. The history of the area adds to the atmosphere. Depot Bottom is a hidden gem.

When you have lunch with a friend you haven't seen in 20 years, you may not pay attention to the food. But Foutch's was notable.
We had the special from the hot bar with lots of vegetables, cornbread and rolls. The iced tea was excellent and our glasses were filled. The meatloaf was moist with a nice ketchup-y topping. The creamed corn tasted like they made it themselves, not canned.
A great place to catch up with an old friend.

This is our favorite restaurant in area. The food is always good and prepared as ordered. The staff always friendly. Whether you want the best burger in town or the best bacon wrapped filet this is the place.the buffett is reasonable with a great variety. The pizza superb as is the other entries. Best place in town for breakfast too.

Having found Chabelitas with such good reviews on Trip Advisor, we just knew it was the place for lunch. While Mexican restaurants are commonly found, it is very seldom that you find such delicious Mexican food in a medium sized town like McMinnville. The menu is extensive and the only difficulty is choosing only one entree from so many. They have a lunch menu on the back of the main menu and we ordered from that, assuming the portions would be smaller for lunch. However, when our food arrived, we were astounded at the size of the portions served and yet the prices were very reasonable. I have a big appetite, but had to request a "to go box" for half. Large portions are one thing, but unless the food is tasty, it just doesn't matter....but this was some of the best Mexican food I have eaten! I can often judge a Mexican restaurant on their fajitas, and these were a real treat. My wife thought she ordered a variation of fajitas, but what she got was quite different than she expected, but loved every bite. In the future we will be going more frequently to McMinnville and you can bet we are going to try every item on that huge menu! Service was fast and very friendly. Handicap accessible.

Food is good and service is also good. I was there with my three granddaughters. The bar had a good choice for kids

Visited the Cumberland Biscuit Company for the first time. Had brunch and was very good. Nice place, well done. Stop in if passing through. Worth it. Across from Park Theater.

My wife and friends used to frequent this place every other Friday night for catfish, we recently won the Anniversary lunch from the local radio station for our anniversary so we decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. My how this place has changed, service was slow, food was mediocre and restaurant in general has went really downhill. I don't believe we will be trying this place anytime soon again.
