The gyro is excellent. It is a little different than traditional Coney Island type gyros. The fresh pita is thinner and the sauce is a little different. You get a lot of food for your money.
The ordering process is a cross between fast food and sit-down. You order your food at the front counter and get a number. The food will be delivered to your table in 5 to 10 minutes. Waitress service will refill your drinks and they "bus" your table after you leave.
I highly recommend this place. I wish that there were one of these restaurants in my hometown.

Oh, that I had never found Wixey's! My clothes used to fit looser.
No more.
I fastened my belt on the third notch.
No more.
It used to be that I could be satisfied with grocery store donuts.
No more.
Everything I've bought there has been delicious. Pastries, cookies, cupcakes, birthday cakes.
It appears clean and well lit. Nothing hiding in the corners.
And the staff is always so cheerful!
No qualms about recommending this place.
Oh, parking can be a little dodgey.

This restaurant was rated highly on TripAdvisor and was across the street from our hotel so we decided to try it. I'm so glad we did. They don't take reservations for fewer than 6 people, but we were lucky to have arrived just as someone left. The place was almost completely full the whole time we were there. It's a relatively small space, with wood tables and chairs, but I didn't feel too crowded. The man who was either the owner or manager, I believe, never stopped moving. We ordered a spring roll and a summer roll with chicken to share. Both were quite good and larger than you usually see. My husband ordered the crispy duck half and I ordered the pad thalay, which was a seafood combo, scallops, mussels, calamari and shrimp, plus various vegetables. I was afraid it would be too spicy, so I asked for it to be just a little spicy. I would have liked more spice. The crispy duck was excellent. If we lived anywhere near here, we would go frequently.

My son's soccer team was in the area and visited this ice cream shop based on high reviews on trip advisor. I am so glad we went! The ice cream was very high quality and large portions. The prices were very reasonable. There is a little play ground behind the shop with picnic tables. The lines were long, so be prepared to wait. This is also a cash only ice cream stand.

Owned and operated by the Mendez Family since 2010, Cocina de Carlos (Carlos' Kitchen) serves a fresh style of Mexican Cuisine.
I go to this place a lot. They have a great buffet for lunch where you can truly stuff yourself on a wide variety of options. If you're a veggie or vegan this place is excellent because the beans and the rice are both vegetarian. Good place for dinner too, delicious margaritas

We were ready to turn into a chain restaurant when my husband spotted this place. Since we were looking for Mexican food, we were so excited. Well, many Mexican restaurants have signs declaring "authentic," but this one truly is. I have eaten at many, and the food here far exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding.

Came for dinner to celebrate a family members birthday. Too many missteps dampened the celebration. When ordering drinks waitress was made aware that my spouse and I would be on the same check and I asked for an order of gluten free bread. The salads started coming out, some not with dressing on the side as requested. I inquired about the GF bread as it had been 20 min and was told "that it takes time to make" in a tone with some attitude. Later our dinners came out. Still no bread 50 minutes after ordering it. Another server, Alvin, when was asked about the bread he stated "I will go check, they probably forgot." Guess what? 5 min later I had the bread!! Hmmm, what was the real story here? He was also quick to correct some incorrect salads even though he was not our primary server. My dinner plate came, green beans were under cooked, hard and chewy. Mashed potatoes were barely lukewarm as were the veges. Chicken was over cooked, hard and chewy around the edges and also barely lukewarm.
Not once during our meal were we asked how everything was or if we needed anything. Glasses sat empty with no offers of refills. The children's menu states ice cream included with meal. None of the children were offered any and we were too fed up to even ask at this point. A few in our party as well as our bill was wrong. No "thanks for dinning with us" from our waitress. Ignored as we passed the hostess area on the way out. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We visited Mancys for a pre-holiday dinner with friends. Reservations are a must! Beautiful decor, but not ostentatious. Comfortable seating, tables well spaced. Service courteous and professional, very knowledgeable. Excellent wines, we skipped hordoerves this trip , but lobster bisque is yum! Steaks are cooked perfectly, and they understand how to make a blackened rare steak ! The Chilean sea bass is melt in your mouth wonderful. I could really fill up on bread and house salad- but save room for your entree. We were able to enjoy a lovely unrushed dinner with friends. Truly an enjoyable experience - for the body and soul!

We've been going here since they opened. The food and drinks are consistently good. Especially the Sunday brunch. Today we had fish tacos, lobster Newburgh, and Mistletoe Martinis.
