Our focus is authentic mexican cuisine. We use only the freshest ingredients. We focus on the healthiest cooking practices. Try a dish, if you do not enjoy it, we will cook something else for you! Period. We put people first.
Uncle Bertos serves consistently excellent Mexican food.
We’ve been eating here for years and they have done an exceptional job maintaining consistently high quality food for that entire time.
The only negative comment is that the prices have gone up to a point where it is no longer reasonable to eat here on a regular basis.
While it’s still a favorite for good Mexican food, we don’t go as often. Also used to have a frequent guest card they replaced with an app called Perka. The app is confusing and useless.

I last ate here in March with my wife. This time was a solo visit for a filling lunch on a Saturday. Good hot food. Self serve AYCE buffet. Fried chicken especially good.

We just had to stop here on our way back to Greenville after spending a nice afternoon at a local winery. I had heard they had Dole Whips. My daughter and I love them! We got the lemon and raspberry swirl and it was so good. We were just a bit disappointed that they did not have pineapple as it brings our memories to Disney World back. Maybe another time. Prices and service are very good.

We've been a half dozen times now for lunch/dinner. Always attentive service, and superior food. Not a place to run in and out in 20 minutes though.
My wife and I were imagining what a huge success this place would be in a better location, or even "On Main St" .

Smoky Dreams BBQ uses only the freshest meats and produce. Everything is cooked daily with delectable, original seasonings and sauces. Smoked to perfection . . . Pork, chicken, ribs and even the wings literally fall off the bone. The hash and the vinegar slaw are truly unique and there's creamy lemon and peanut butter pie to top it off.
We drive out of our way every time just to eat at Smoky Dreams BBQ, That's how good it is!!! The ribs are delicious, the Baked beans are perfect honestly and I simply can't get enough of their Cole Slaw. Everything about this little piece of heaven is amazing. Besides the food, I LOVE that it's a family own business and everyone works together. They have clean bathrooms which is a plus when you have kids :)

This restaurant was recommended by a friend that lives in Mauldin so we stopped by after doctors appointment in the area. Your meal is ordered and paid for at counter and you are given your drink and a number to go ahead and take a seat with. All seafood is grilled or fried and you get to choose 3 sides with your meal. I ordered fried flounder and shrimp plate with fried okra, baked beans and hush puppies. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly and the staff could not have been more cordial and friendly to us. We will be going back to try the seafood tacos and shrimp and grits

Mauldin Deli was a daily stop for lunch for the past few years. My work schedule has taken me farther away, however I go for lunch every time I am nearby. The food cannot be beat, truly the BEST deli in the Upstate. Clean, excellent food & service. I highly recommend you try Mauldin Deli - you will NOT regret it!
Love these folks just like family!!!

My husband and I visited Saffron for lunch this week and discovered an extraordinarily large array of salads, dishes, naan and even kheer. It was fantastic. Every dish was well prepared even a few with a bit of heat (hot spice). Naan was plentiful on the buffet table. Tandori chicken was kept hot in an oven-like warmer. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with lovely fabric and tapestry wall decor and spotless white tablecloths. Service was friendly and very attentive. My only lament was that the chai was on the pricy side with no free refills. I understand that milk has become expensive but chai tea is an essential element of Indian cuisine. For those who like spirits, there is a full bar. Wonderful dining experience for those craving their Indian food fix and those wanting to try Indian for the first time.

Tato's is a wonderful family-owned restaurant that specializes in wood-fired pizza and Colombian food, though they also serve an assortment of other food including American dishes and some Greek food. I've never had a bad experience here. The food is always good and the service is always friendly! The portions are a good size and the prices are very reasonable.
It's on Miller Road but it's small so you have to keep your eyes open for it as you drive by.
Mauldin is finally starting to see some better restaurants than the parade of fast food places that have always dominated the landscape here. Tato's is an excellent place to find some exceptional food! If you want to continue to have good food options here, support great local places like Tato's!

I've lived or worked in this area for a year now and have driven by this restaurant many times. For some reason I thought it was closed and then I recently met the owner. I was sad to hear she was thinking of closing it so I went last night. I ordered vegetable lo mein at the advice of the owner and also spring rolls and I was not disappointed. I've had lo mein often and this was hands down the best I've ever had. It had a little spice and tasted fresh. They've earned a new customer and I'll pass the word on.
