Had never been to this restaurant before so
I read the previous reviews and arranged for a six person luncheon.
Service was prompt and the waitress was pleasant. Unfortunately the food was awful! Corned beef sandwich on rye with steak fries was terrible. The fish 'n chips not much better, etc, etc.
Only a couple of tables were occupied which seemed strange for a place rated #1. You would expect them to be busy.
We will not be going back.

We picked this place on a recommendation for the Jambalaya and it did not disappoint. Ingredients are top shelf and flavor profiles interesting and well executed. The portions are HUGE - teenage boys couldn’t finish half of their Jambalaya dishes. The Nashville chicken has 2 boneless breasts and 2 biscuits. The shrimp and grits offers 10 nice sized shrimp with very rich cheese grits.
Pork belly appetizer was my favorite plate.
Service is very attentive but not hovering.
Voodoo shrimp is delicious and large enough it could be a main course for a smaller eater, but very rich.
Make a reservation-it’s not a large place.
We will definitely return!

This is our favorite local bakery. Their cookies and cakes are always tasty and pretty. They make cannolis and pignoli cookies that really hit the mark.
They have pre-prepared assorted cookie trays and select from the counter assortment. (we always pick from the counter assortment). Everything is always fresh and delicious. I recommend this bakery.
Take out only - no seating inside.

Denino's is one of the best pizza places in New Jersey; and when you throw in the Fried Calamari you get an extra special place. The rest of the menu options are all delicious but you don't have to go much beyond the pizza and calamari. The Meat-Lovers & MOR are favorites but the Buffalo Chicken Ranch and Eggplant & Riccota are wonderful as well....in fact they're all great. Thin crust, slightly charred, great toppings, etc. It is a wonderful experience & BYOB.

I've been coming here for decades for very good bagels. Not the world's best, but very good and totally consistent. Solid variety without stupid updated flavors. All the classics plus egg bagels, bialeys and pumpernickel sesame bagels. I like the scallion cream cheese, nova and whitefish salads are perfectly acceptable. They have tables to eat in and do a big bagel sandwich business.

Matawan is my favorite Starbucks. Lori and her staff are friendly and efficient. The store is very busy but usually very clean.

I love high quality food and respect the need of a small business to flourish; however, $15.00 for 3 almond croissants is steep from any perspective!!!
Let me be fair and say that they were good, but absolutely over-priced!!!
I would suggest that if this is the range of prices, each item should be duly labelled so that a customer knows beforehand what s/he is purchasing.
Finally, I cannot for the life of me understand why a high quality bakery would not serve European style coffee!!!
