Mason is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is named after the state's first governor, Stevens T. Mason. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 8,252. It is the county seat of Ingham County. Mason is the only city in the U.S. that serves as a county seat ahead of a state capital, with the capital of Lansing also in Ingham County. Despite Mason being the county seat, many county offices and courtrooms are located in Lansing.

The sports bar had a very nice menu and many craft beers to choose from. The atmosphere was family orientated and the restaurant was clean and bright. Service and food were very good with many entrees or sandwiches to choose from. The price was right and the food was tasty. Would not hesitate to return or to recommend to others.

I love this place year round. They have grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup which are so soothing on chilly days and fantastic ice cream treats which are great on warmer days. Over the summer they had a Boston Cooler made with Vernor's and vanilla ice cream. It was so good I found myself making sure I was stopping on a weekly basis. You never know what to expect as they are always experimenting. But I can guarantee it is worth the stop in.

Ordered a large extra extra hot latte.. from the drive through.. after waiting 15 minutes (no exaggeration) for the 2 cars in front of me to get their orders, I got my coffee. The server was friendly enough, but everyone inside was working and looked to be unhappy. Lastly... my coffee was still not extra hot, it wasn't that hot at all. I wouldn't go back to this place.

My sister and I grew up in Mason, before Bad Brewiing was part of the town. But whenever we visit our brothers in Michigan, we drive through Mason and indulge at Bad Brewing. Loads of choices, and great beverages! - plus knowledgeable staff who can help you make a good choice. Even better this time was beer on their patio, with great nachos from the good time food truck there. Definitely worth a stop!!

Arrived around 8 pm for a late dinner. The dining room was almost full. Hose' is a perfect host and waiter. He allowed us to choose our table and had chips and salsa delivered immediately. He is attentive and kept our drinks full until we walked out the door. Our food was served promptly and steaming hot. Everything was perfect, even though my order was a bit complicated. This is the perfect restaurant for great service and authentic Mexican food.

This restaurant is a throw-back to the good ol' days in most respects. The inside seems a bit on the shabby side & a few tables could have been cleaned (didn't see anyone cleaning the lobby the whole time we were there.) The service wasn't quick, but it wasn't exceptionally slow either. The #4 rating comes from the food and free-flowing rootbeer! I had a hungry family of 5 and none of us was disappointed. I couldn't believe they still served the old A&W dinners! I had the Turkey dinner with a salad and bean & ham soup and it was DELISH! Possibly the BEST garlic toast I've ever tasted with REAL garlic on it!!!!! I'd recommend giving it a whirl.

A wonderful rustic comfortable atmosphere. Service and food were outstanding for the price. I would highly recommend the fish and chips which were some of the best I have ever had. Home made chips and their specials are a delight to try. Full bar and many items to choose from. This is the place that locals go to. I would not hesitate to recommend or to return.

Breakfasts are the specialty here, although they also do lunch. The lay-out, furnishings and decor are deliberately low-key, old-fashioned small-town/rural American. (UK visitors may find the hunting and shooting emphasis a bit unusual, but in small towns in the USA that is normal.) The food is also very typical of Mid-Western and Southern small towns - and it is delicious! The variety is extensive, and you can choose to eat a lot or a little, just by for example ordering side dishes to accompany a plate of pancakes. You should aim to arrive hungry, because you will almost certainly be tempted to eat a lot. We went with our son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter (5) and it was good for the whole family. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

The food here is AWESOME! I first ate here when I went to Mason High School 26 years ago as an exchange student. Whenever I return to Michigan like I did last week I always stop back at Westside Deli and get the same food. The breadsticks with Pizza sauce are awesome. It is surrounded by other chain pizza restaurants but you can't beat a local place that has better food than the chains. Subs are also great.
Can't wait until I am back next time to eat there again.

Referral from the Helpful Hardware Folks. Monday for lunch , traveling through. THE most fabulous Pepperjack seafood soup in a bread bowl I have ever had. Wife had the portabello soup and half sandwich, also very good. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Clean, and comfortable. Will revisit when in the area. Sysco house.
