Located along US 41 upon entering Marquette, our bakery is on the right side between Quality Care Care and Classic Auto. Our exterior is a log cabin style with a green and white stripe awning. We have large windows along the front of the building, letting in a lot of natural light. We have an entrance on either side of the building. Parking is limited.
After touring Marquette, we stopped at this nice bakery overlooking the Bay. It was mid-afternoon, but we were still able to get plenty of sweet treats and some excellent croissants. Prices were reasonable; friendly service. They also have fancy coffees and a few tables for dine-in...just in case you can't wait to get home with your treats!

Fabulous down to the drinks and food. Drinks are excellent, the food just as good my husband had Chicken Fried which was as good as Texas. I had catfish chips ....Yummy, fried grits with a creole sauce ....Again Yummy and the Gumbo was as good as Mew Orleans. Service was excellent!

Marquette Baking Company is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and so I no longer buy baguettes on those days -- quite simply, their baguettes are head and shoulders above any others available in the Upper Peninsula. In the shop I've been less delighted with other breads, which can on occasion be a little heavy or soggy, but when they sell at the Downtown Marquette Farmers' Market it is always a joy to munch on a Parmesan twist as I wander about amongst the vegetables.

Donckers was established in 1896 by Fred Donckers, a one-armed family man that prided himself on great customer service and top-notch ingredients used to make his locally-famous chocolate fudge. Over 120 years later, Donckers is continuing the tradition of great, quality food and service to locals and tourists alike. Take a trip to Donckers for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and stay for dessert at the old fashioned soda fountain, or try some house-made chocolates and caramels from the store. Some items of note are the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Fred's Tin Roof Sundae, fresh local burgers, and award winning Donckers mac and cheese.
Donckers is a local tradition (my wife's college dean in Ohio says her initials are carved in one of the booths from her childhood in MQT). Excellent candies, lots of which are homemade. Multi-storied, nice views out the back side. Food is good but not superior.

The Aubree's story begins in 1972, when Bill and Sandee French opened a little corner bar in Depot Town, Ypsilanti. Throughout the years, Aubree's has grown into the full service restaurants we are today. We not only want to exceed your expectations of quality, service, and atmosphere, but our hope is to be deeply rooted into the community by being active in supporting local schools, charities, and organizations. Our community has helped shape who we are today, and will continue to determine who we are in the future. Our goal is to provide top-quality meals at a reasonable price in a casual environment. We operate our restaurants with integrity and respect, and we do it in a personal way! Our customer needs are our top priorities. In this way, our guests can enjoy Aubree's in a way that fits their mood and style of living.
I am a student at NMU and I’m obsessed with Aubree’s. They have great pizza for a decent price. They deliver which is amazing but going inside is so fun. The atmosphere is great and relaxed. All the staff is so friendly and willing to help you. Bre is one of the bartenders and she is amazing. She is so patient with people and sweet to talk to. I love to sit at the bar because she makes it so comfortable and fun. Definitely recommend everyone to go here!

Easy to find if you’re wandering around downtown. Clean and comfortable place with lots to choose from on the menu. Better than average pub food with generous portions. Saw the pizza served which looked very good. They have some tap beer but not huge selection. Will find Michigan beers featured here. Worth stopping!

Locally cultivated, internationally inspired. Sink your taste buds into our German and European menu, showcasing seasonal produce by local farmers. Whether it's for brunch or our evening four-course dinner, our menus are printed daily to reflect only the freshest ingredients and made-from-scratch recipes. Wash it all down with one of our 50+ bottled beers, house-made cocktails or wine selections.
Finally had the opportunity to dine at the Steinhaus. Had a very difficult time ordering as everything on the menu was something we would want to try! We were not disappointed! However, because we DID order many things, we didn't have a chance to really linger over each dish. Everything was served too quickly and our entire table was filled with food. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Visited the Vierling Restaurant on the recommendation of a local acquaintance. Nice atmosphere with a view of the water. Service was excellent. We both had whitefish and it was perfectly prepared and served hot. Side dishes (vegetables, rice) were good but could have been warmer. Overall, we both enjoyed our meals and will undoubtedly visit this restaurant again on a future trip to Marquette.

We take pride in our fresh to order food along with a large number of homemade sauce recipes. Come check out any sporting event on one of our 14 HD TV's or just relax and choose from one of our 10 tap lines while playing the Michigan Lotto.
Went to dinner the last night of vacation and picked this place based on good reviews. Not so good tonight. The fries and onion rings were so overdone that they turned to stone. My yummy oulled pork sandwich was crammed in a dinner basket with mountain of stone fries and despite my best efforts I could NOT pick it up. The harder I tried the bigger the mess given the sauce and slaw had drenched the bottom bun. It was margarita special night (and by then i needed it) but a water glass full of lime flavored liquid with no hint of tequilla wasn't worth finishing. My husband had a great fresh ham and Turkey wrap and OUR waitress was great. Tried to replace fries but we said no thank you. Wouldn't come back.
