My wife and I chose to eat at The Fish Company after learning about.the restaurant from friends and family members Across the street from the restaurant is the beautiful St. Clair River and home to great walleye and perch fishing which are local restaurant favorites. We met friends there who live in town. Fish Company has casusl dining and is very popular. Seating can be a problem so make reservations. The staff was great, fast and friendly. We each had "all you can eat walleye" with cheese mashed potatoes, coleslaw and bread. The meal was delicious and inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

Located in downtown historic Marine City, overlooking the St. Clair River, The Sweet Tooth is a unique old-fashioned candy store with a twist here and there. Visiting The Sweet Tooth is a feast for all of the senses with its delicious handmade sweets and gorgeous window displays. Featuring nostalgic candy from the early 1900's to the 1970's, with a wall of assorted bulk candies from the past to the present that will delight all ages from young to old. The Sweet Tooth also offers sugar-free ice cream, candy and chocolate, and Taffy Town Gourmet Taffy. Plan your next birthday party at The Sweet Tooth. We have a fully decorated private room for the kiddos to enjoy pizza, beverages and decorating their own sweets! Grab a Michigan-made ice cream cone from Hudsonville Creamery and watch the freighters go by on our outdoor patio.
Delicious fresh chocolates, yummy ice cream, huge selection of candies (including quite a few old fashioned candies you can't find everywhere). Todd and his staff are friendly and helpful. This is a MUST visit first when in Marine City, then enjoy the rest of town.

Great bakery, much like those much more plentiful in the past. Excellent variety of pastries at reasonable prices. A bit of a lineup when we arrived, but we had heard that this was a very popular place, The wait was well worth it!! We will visit again whenever we are in Marine City!

We live in Marysville yet if we want a DQ we head to Marine City. My husband and I stopped in with cousins for lunch after church. My husband and I both had chicken sandwiches. We were both pleasantly surprised, they were very good, far better than Mickey D's. Our server was being trained, she was nice, trying to do everything right ~ we tried not to make her nervous. When our meals were ready all were served with a smile. The service and food served here is much better than a number of DQ's that are closer to us. Hope they don't lose the small town edge they currently have.

The Little Bar boasts Award-Winning food made with the freshest of ingredients. Stop in for a half-pound Reuben or burger, Great Lakes Fish, steaks, ribs, pastas and chicken - all made-to-order. We have Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday night. We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11am for lunch - come take a drive along the beautiful St. Clair River or visit the many shops and parks in Marine City and stop by and sit on our patio for lunch! We have something for everyone!!
A new establishment trying to play off its historical past, which isn't working too well. According to the owner, they are packed most evenings. This is a place that is for locals. The meal was so-so. The Prime Rib, was in name only, Prime only being a word, not a description of the tenderness of the cut, at best, choice. It must have been a Neil Diamond day, because for the entire time we were there, that was all that we heard. We're glad we went, we enjoyed seeing what had been done with the place after a fire, and a couple of owners.

Just ate breakfast here and would not go back. Started with the young girl hostess when was not happy to be working and we were definitely an inconvenience to her. The waitress was no better. I think we interrupted her smoke break because she was grouchy and smelled like an ash tray. Wow, not what you would expect when Marine City has some competition. like I said one time here was enough. Don't waste your money here.

My wife and I have made numerous visits to the Blue Pike Cantina since it opened last year. The food is pretty tasty, and the wine is spectacular. I would recommend anyone coming to Marine City try this place out. It fits perfectly into the mold of this wonderful town, particularly before a theater event, or after antique shopping. Perhaps what stands out the most are the wonderful people making and serving the food, including the owners Dave and Kim. Everyone makes you feel at home. This place is a winner.

I don't know what took us so long to come back. Same great food, homey atmosphere, friendly service and great family prices!
When we walked in, it still looked the same... bar area, regular tables and chairs, name-carved picnic tables, panelling on the wall, trophies for decor. It's like we stepped back in time... and it felt good. The bathrooms were updated, and that we appreciated.
Although it's a 'lounge', don't let that stop you from bringing the family, as this time we came with kids and grandkids. There's something for everyone. Gar's has three sitting and eating areas, two inside rooms, separated by a bar and an outside patio.
We loved the simple menu on a single sheet of paper. And the prices didn't break the bank. A bottomless bowl of popcorn starts off the experience. There was a good variety of draft and bottled beer, and other drink choices. Huge 32 ounce glasses were real eye-poppers. Burgers seemed to be the specialty, and Friday night had all you can eat fish and chips for $8.99. Tasty and unique appetizers were a hit. Extra napkins were placed at the table without asking, and things like salsa and sour cream for the taco salads were plentiful with several individual containers. Everything needed was brought to the table before you could ask for it!
Service was amazing... everything made to order, and lots of personal attention during the meal. It's what we'd like to expect, but it doesn't usually happen in all eateries.
We won't wait that long to come back!
