Our Miata group consisted of six people. We were waited on quick enough(middle of the day), but then after ordering things slowed down. Selections by us ranged from Cobb salads to Reuben sandwiches to a Philly cheesesteak. Plenty of time to kill with conversation and the quality/quantity was well worth the wait.everyone raved about portions and taste. We may take another ride next year with a larger group of Miatas.

Woodfired Pizza & Wood Grill Burgers & Chicken Sandwiches Also Shrimp and Steamed Clams
We saw this place in passing and heard it was good> Stopped for a Saturday night dinner and we weren't disappointed. It's very busy on weekend nights so there is a wait if you want pizza but worth it. Other food is good too including nice salads. Lots of families; good place for kids. Looks like it's great in summer: outdoor seating but in the winter there's a nice wood stove. Our waitress was attentive but not annoying and the beer was cold. What more could you need after skiing?

Are you looking for a Dunkin Donut store? Well the isn't one. They sell Dunkin donuts and coffee inside the Speedway (used to be Hess). Keep looking.

As I live in the area, Goatie Whites has been a real need here. Good food and pizza, happy service and reasonable prices. Open fewer days in the winter for good reason, but bustling continuously in the summer. Great soft ice cream. They make their own ice cream sandwiches. I hope this place stays open for a long time.

While staying at Big Indian in the Catskills for a weekend wedding, we decided to dine at Peekamoose Restaurant on the Saturday evening before a Sunday wedding.
We ordered from the diverse menu of Soups, Salads, Appetizers, Entrees and deserts.
Perfect Grey Goose Martini's were made to our specifications without delay by an excellent waiter. A beautiful 12 ingredient salad was chosen by one of us while I had the excellent warm honey glazed beets. A shared and I say shared because this appetizer is for two or three at least, the Peekamoose Charcuterie Board is a MUST and one of the best apps we have ever had the opportunity to enjoy! Entrees of Rainbow Trout cooked to perfection with crispy skin served over local vegetables and a fine yet light sauce brought out the very best of this local favorite. Strong American Coffee was enjoyed along with a serving of fresh turned Pistachio/Brittle homemade ice cream, while I enjoyed the most delicious Panna Cotta with fresh Blackberry's and Raspberries. The staff was knowledgable, courteous and very efficient. The owner came to our table at the end of our meal and we shared with her how much we enjoyed our dining with them. She was very kind and gracious.
A great variety tap beers, wines and other alcoholic beverages are also available in this beautifully decorated and well floor planned facility. We strongly recommend dining at this restaurant while on your next visit while in the Catskills near Phoenicia or Big Indian.

Went for sauerbraten which was very good. Not fancy but good food at fair prices. They do Octoberfest every year with a German menu. The sauerbraten is what I remember as a child growing up. It is true marinated meat with sour gravy and potato pancakes. I would have preferred potato balls but they don't do that. I enjoy that the meat is actually marinated as most places just make potroast with sour gravy.

Kitchen & some seating located in a Caboose with separate Dining Room, Outdoor Deck & Porch seating.
Took my mother there for breakfast one Sunday morning. Interesting setup inside but the service, selections and seating were plentiful and more than satisfactory. Delicious stuffed French toast and coffee. Good prices, friendly staff. Hope to get there again before the summer is over.

Walking into this place is like walking into Mexico. The owners, Martin and Veronica, are from Mexico and have brought the delicious Mexican cuisine with them. This is not Tex-Mex, and anyone expecting that will be disappointed. This is the real thing, as hot as you want it. Or not. If you don't see what you like on the menu, tell them what you want and they'll do their best to please you. It's not fast or fancy, but it's authentic and very satisfying.
