The best of Texas in Madison, AL!
This is awesome Texas style BBQ. The ribbs fall off the bone and are delicious. I also sampled the brisket and pork and it was also delicious. Awesome smokey and moist BBQ. The best I have eaten in Huntsville.

At the Melting Pot of Huntsville fondue is a fun and interactive dining experience - and for more than three decades, The Melting Pot has defined the niche across the American dining scene. At The Melting Pot, fondue truly becomes a memorable four-course dining experience where patrons can dip into something different - and discover all the ingredients for a unique dining experience including a relaxed atmosphere, private tables, attentive service, fine wines, and signature fondue dinners. The Melting Pot of Huntsville is on the second floor of Bridge Street's northeast corner - just past Brighton Collectibles. It has a patio that overlooks the Westin Huntsville's courtyard. We are open for dinner only from 5 to 10 p.M. Monday-Thursday, 4 to 11 p.M. On Friday-Saturday, and 4 to 9 p.M. On Sundays.
We have been going to "The Melting Pot" since it opened. Before it came to Huntsville, our New Years Eve thing was going to the downtown Nashville location. We did that for several years in a row until it came here. I suppose the novelty wore off. But we still love the food and the atmosphere. We go several times a year.

Great place for lunch with girl friends even though it gets rather noisy with a crowd. The food is always great, served hot and the servers always try to please the clients. Chicken salad and strawberry pretzel are my favorites.

Make new friends and enjoy a drink at the bar or meet with old friends for drinks in the relaxing lounge.
We had a less than stellar experience at our last Grille 29 visit and reviewed it here.
It's been about a year and we decided to see what had changed.
To our great surprise, Grille 29 improved on our past experience and surpassed our expectations.
We last complained that Grille 29 had screwed up when they ditched the gazpacho and the halibut cheeks, among other popular menu items.
We were very pleased to try their escargot, which was fantastic and their meat and cheese appetizer, which exceeded our expectations. The chef has created an amazing jam with caramelized onions and.... get this ... bacon. It was absolutely fantastic. Kudos to the chef for this amazing creation. We could not stop eating it.
The crab cake entree was absolutely perfect, and we had the rice and edamame succotash as sides.
Our server was Darrell, a fantastic, professional server with the right timing, grace and knowledge of both the wine and food menus.
We are glad Grille 29 surpassed our expectations and we will be back.

This place is in a strip mall, and it's quite small inside, but we went on a weeknight for dinner and were seated right away. The food was good, I had the schnitzel with pan fried potatoes, excellent...the service was nice, but the prices were a bit higher than we expected.

Went here when my son and his girlfriend were passing through town after going to a friend's wedding. I have eaten here before and this is not your regular pub food! Not that pub food is necessarily bad. This is really, really, really good food that just happens to be in a pub. I had the chicken and waffles, my daughter the chorizo quesadillas and my wife the the Black Bear Waffles with fruit, fresh cream and a pile of other good ingredients. Add to that the burger my son had and the smoked salmon bagel creation that his girlfriend had and you get an idea of what their brunch was like. Now, on top of that, you can have really great craft beer from the premises, a mimosa or umpteen other creations and you have a place that my wife and I will be going to much more than just this once!
I highly recommend it and the setting in old Madison is about as "Old South" as it gets. Why the setting for this place hasn't been used in a movie yet is a mystery.

Seriously....this review shouldn't even be necessary. Someone has obviously bribed the local health department to allow this place to stay open, and the same person must have bribed a bunch of reviewers to say this was even FOOD. Greasy ribs that were served room temperature and were only slabs of gristle, so we didn't tempt fate by eating more than a bite. The chicken was also served only slightly warm, and was dry and tough with no taste. The hushpuppies were the only thing safe enough to eat. We gave up early enough to go find better food elsewhere. Will never go back.

Great Hot Wings
The four of us ate supper at Cricket’s. The service was excellent from start to finish: friendly...efficient...knowledgeable...not overbearing.
The menu offers many selections. The portion size is large.
The quality was only okay: burgers were under seasoned...French fries were limp...hamburger buns were not toasted.
The overall atmosphere was very good.
