We've been here several times and our experiences have always been good. We were here most recently in late December and were a little frustrated with the service as our waiter was drab, not horribly attentive and didn't cause me to want to provide a tip of more than just the bare minimum. I concur with another reviewer who stated the tables are too close together. Not sure I need everyone in the world over hearing what my dining companions and I are discussing.
The food is always good, the bartenders all make a perfect Manhattan and the wine list is solid. We'll be back but will request a different waiter and a more private table if one exists.

I have been going to this location on and off for years. Its main drawback is the parking and crowds during peak times. Its food is always good, like their other location on Los Gatos Blvd. I always get one of the omelets, and it always comes with great potatoes and fresh-baked bakery item. This is a reliable place for an excellent breakfast.

Michelin star recipient San Francisco Bay & Wine country for 2011 & 2012"At Dio Deka the refined and technically precise Greek and Mediterranean dishes are elevated to stellar levels.”- anonymously by the Michelin inspector
Dined with my husband on a Tuesday night, 7pm with reservation. Our server was fantastic, knowledgeable about menu & attentive. We shared the spread assortment with pita for appetizer. It was delicious. We shared a grilled dorade fish which was simply divine & a good portion. We also shared the lamb osso bucco. The portion of osso bucco was small, two large bones with 3 bites of lamb on each piece & scant whipped potato & 2 Brussels sprouts on the plate. The food was excellent & I do recommend Dio Deka for a nice meal.

We've been lucky to experience a number of restaurants at a whole different level. So, our rating is based on comparing it to others in this special "experience" category: Lazy Bear (San Francisco), Blue Hill at Stone Barns (outside NYC), Dinner with Heston Blumenthal (in London), I could go on but you get the idea.
These are special places that focus on the unique dining "experience", superbly creative presentations, have incredibly seamless service, delicious tastes, etc. So, our expectations are at that level. Manresa has been one of our "bucket list" dining restaurant experiences that we needed to check off. Now that we have, we can say that there are many positive elements that Manresa has that put it in that tier. Certainly, if this was one's only experience, it easily could receive an "outstanding" rating. For us, we must compare it to other comparable locations. Hence, the "very good" rating.
There is much to enjoy and savor here. The service is impeccable and seamless. The cuisine is indeed very creatively presented. The desserts were to die for. You could go there just to savor the desserts. However, you have to work your way through the fixed menus first. There are about fourteen courses, so it that sense you do have much to savor and view.
We were first greeted by several wonderful hosts who truly seemed to appreciate the customer experience and that started us off on a great footing. We ordered 2 glasses of Lassalle Champagne (excellent) while waiting for our table. Then, we were seated in the room across from the waiting area. Our servers were outstanding and didn't miss a beat with our orders or timing. That's an accomplishment in itself for most restaurants. I were presented with the standard seasonal menu (The Summer Garden). My wife chose the "vegetarian" version.
The overpowering tastes for many of these items was "salt". It just seemed so predominant and too much for us. Granted, many of the food items were salt water based. That said, my wife really enjoyed the Maitake and tomatillo in chili creole. I now find it hard to remember which, if any, items really stuck out to me (other than the salt). Now, that's not to say it wasn't good; it was.
What really did stand out to us other than the service and attention was the desserts and special attention we did receive for our anniversary celebration.
I'm attaching a number of photos so you can see the creativity. I hope I label these correctly from the menus we received.

Cin-Cin [chin-chin] is an Italian toast meaning "to your health." Cin-Cin Wine Bar resulted from a friendship of a successful Bay Area local restaurateur and a former Google marketing professional-turned-sommelier. Don Durante and Lisa Rhorer developed the concept of Cin-Cin based on their passion for food, wine and the environment. Cin-Cin is a neighborhood wine bar for friends and family to enjoy food and wine produced by sustainable, organic and biodynamic methods. Cin-Cin is a place where you can nourish your palate with pure, sophisticated and intense flavors.
Had a fun girls night out at Cin Cin. We tried some fun & delicious coucktails & never even got the the impressive wine list. We shared a beet salad, mushroom risotto, truffle fries, cheese plate and a decadent chocolate dessert. Each dish was delicious. Our server was attentive & friendly. All in all a great experience & will definitely return soon.

The restaurant is bright with a really good menu, primarily but not exclusively aimed at seafood lovers. Service was a little rudimentary, only filling 3 of the 4 wine glasses, not refilling water, etc. but this was maybe the best seafood risotto I've ever experienced. Clearly aimed at the high end and business market, this is an easy choice if you're looking for great food.

Tucked in a corner of historic Old Town Center, Wine Cellar has bee a Los Gatos favorite wince 1966. Dine al fresco on our award winning patio or venture downstairs for a more intimate experience of golden washed walls and candle lit booths. Choose from Cheese or Chocolate Fondue, the freshest seafood including Wild Salmon & Abalone, Chops, Pasta or Painted Hills All Natural Beef. Open daily with brunch on Sundays.
The Wine Cellar Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Los Gatos. The food is delicious. The wait staff is personable and efficient. The décor is like a well decorated home dining room. The patio area is very enjoyable. Unfortunately, many Los Gatans seem to forget it is there.

The name implies that this is a pizza joint. But it is so much more! Usually I am look warm on salads, because I've been disappointed so many times. However this place really delivers on salads. Try the Flatiron steak salad with grilled peaches and ask them to substitute their home made mozzarella for the goat cheese. OMG!!!!! Definitely going back for a repeat! I bet the pizzas great too!

We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservations and were immediately seated.
Our salads were very good...
The sea bass was cooked to perfection, not overcooked.... but the preparation of the sauce was not up to par.
The porterhouse was rare as requested, had great taste and was tender.
Our side dishes of mushroom and the kale with cranberries and pine nuts were good.
The Lilikoi Cheesecake was excellent when paired with the French Press Kona Coffee.
All in all, an enjoyable evening.

Unpretentious, unlike so many restaurants in Los Gatos, Aldo's is all about the food, the service and the atmosphere of a ristorante.
The food...was superb. Anytime a restaurant offers 'mustard cream sauce' I have to try it and their Specialita di Sofia was appealing, mouth-watering and delectable with al dente vegetables. The olive oil, roasted garlic and red pepper bread dipping oil was deluscious...the perfect way to start a meal.
The service...was competent, efficient and monitored our table anticipating our needs. In today's restaurants where indifferent service is the norm, this was a pleasure.
The atmosphere...it was apparent that there were many regulars (since there was a lot of hugging going on), groups of business people, families with children and about everything in between. As typical of many restaurants today, it is noisy but the outside area appears to be quieter if that is your preference.
