We had to try Chef Chu’s simply because it was rated the best restaurant in Los Altos on Trip Advisor. While we had a good meal it was not the best we had on our visit. There were five of us and we all ordered different entrees so that we had a variety. The pop stickers that we had to begin were very and we all enjoyed the tea. The shrimp with snow peas was the best entree. The food was good, the restaurant was crowded, prices were moderate, but there are other better places to eat in
Los Altos.

Lively spot for lunch. We could talk and hear one another. Modern decor. Menu was mixed Spanish, Caribbean & Latin American food with interesting and tasty choices. Good drinks menu, too! We enjoyed it. In the heart of Castro St. area of Mt. View.

My child loves the macaron here so we often stop by for tea. It's always packed. It's delicate Sino-European style cake is very popular among Asian customers.
While they make good cake, they are always under staffed. Line is always long & everything sold out. Shocking mountains of dirty plates & cups are littered by the coffee station. I don't have a sweet tooth so I don't understand the appeal. If it wasn't for my child, I would not come here voluntarily.

I like strong coffee, and Peets always satisfies my love of this type of coffee. I also like being able to hang out here and read my newspaper, after running errands. The location is very convenient.....right on El Camino Real.....although parking can be a little tricky.

Lively bar and grill! Unfortunately, LA Grill is only open in the evening. We started with their addictive Dip Duo with tortilla chips along with our favorite cocktails at the busy bar managed perfectly by friendly and attentive bartenders. When our table was ready we found there was something for everyone on the menu, We highly recommend the grilled artichoke, the sashimi Ahi tuna salad, the French dip sandwich, and the succulent rotisserie chicken. The kitchen is open to the dining room so it gets noisy, but the fun food, desserts, wine, and cocktails made for a vibrant dinner experience!

Great buzzing atmosphere and it's clearly very popular and during the weekend you are lucky to get a table (and they don't allow you to make reservations in advance). Food here was nice, I'd say that the presentation could be a little better as everything when it is presented seems to look the same no matter what you've ordered, would be great to see some more green veg on the plate! Other than that I can't fault it.

I must admit that flavors and recipes are a bit different in Italy, but one thing I liked at Pompeii is the quality of ingredients which taste like in my home country and provide you with a very good approximation of what pizza and pizza really look & taste.

Lots of choices for vegetarian, Seafood and meat dishes. Particularly like the kobe spring rolls, bbq chicken and the coconut tapioca dessert. The curries are also very tasty. I've been here several times for the lunch buffet and the choices seem to be consistent.

Went in with high hopes!! Pockets full of cash, wanted to buy some of their game meats, and get one of their "renowned sandwiches." They were out of everything, and surly to boot. They gave us two glorified hot dogs, dried out, and disappointing. Well, I didn't come there for the deli anyway, and picked up deer straps and other game. Was so happy to see the owner, as I wanted get some advice on preparation. He rattled off a useless bit of info, that anyone would know, grabbed my cash, and started chatting up the deli workers. If he would have been paying attention, he would have noticed, Her Ladyship was holding an arm load of products, around $400.00 worth. She was so pissed, she set the stuff on the counter and we walked out.We cooked the deer strap our way and it was very good. Hope the owner and you who might be reading this review, realize, there are many other places you can do business for wild game, in stores, or online. And if you're in the mood for a good hot dog, just go to Caspers or Kaspers.

We just returned from the place (4 people) and the overall impression is that it's average to good (not very good).
The service was friendly, provided useful details about the dishes and was reasonably quick even though the place was packed inside.
My hummus, even though was advertised to have extra garlic, it didn't. Was just the average mix of chickpea and tahini, I didn't sense any garlic (at all). Maybe they made a mistake and forgot to add it, but if they didn't then that's not garlic hummus.
The green shakshuka was a nice idea, but a good thing to have been asked would have been how well done the eggs are preferred. No such question and the eggs were too hard.
And the overall common feeling about the pitas was that "this is not a pita". Too doughy, too soft, too adapted.
