We had been to the Brentwood several times before over the years, but always with my wife's parents and always during the holidays. The food was always good but the service was so slow that the overall experience was not great. Last night we decided that we would give it another shot. We wanted to go someplace nice and not drive too far. We were glad we gave them another chance. We had a room upstairs and shortly after we arrived the other diners finished so we had the room to ourselves. The subdued lighting, acoustic music and privacy made for a very romantic setting. Eric was our server. He was very pleasant, attentive, and informative. His service definitely enhanced the experience. They had recently changed the menu and the new options sounded so good it made selecting very difficult. We decided to celebrate our tax refund by ordering chateaubriand for two. It was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sauces were wonderful. We ordered the Belgian chocolate, raspberry souffle for dessert. When it arrived we were a little disappointed because it seemed small but it was so rich that when we started eating it the portion was fine. It was one of the tastiest desserts I've ever had. This chocoholic was very happy. We left thinking it was one of the best dining experiences we'd had in a long time. It was not cheap but I don't mind paying for quality. It was still not fast but the pacing of meal was such that if you are blessed with a delightful dining companion the time flies by.

We haven’t been to Bistro 90 in a while because it’s about 45 minutes from our home. We were returning from Myrtle Beach airport so we stopped for dinner. We were greeted by the hostess who was friendly. As we were seated, we immediately noticed both a white & black napkin placed on our plates. What a wonderful attention to detail! There’s nothing worse than having your black slacks covered with white lint!
Todd our waiter was outstanding!! He was attentive without being overbearing. He described the specials perfectly! The Manhattan was chilled & delicious! My husband had the buratta appetizer which was creamy & served with tomatoes & prosciutto. Wonderful! I had the most delious spinach salad with house made champagne dressing I have ever had. It had the perfect amount of dressing paired with cashews, bacon, cherry tomatoes & chopped egg. The bone in filet was cooked perfectly and could be cut with a fork ... OUTSTANDING!!!! My cod with a spicy creole sauce was cooked correctly & tasty! Bottom line ... although Bistro 90 is a distance away, we will make the trip!

Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection.
AMAZING. She crab soup – knock out, through the park, over the bleechers. Grouper special – leftovers for lunch, can’t wait. Grouper over seafood risotto with crab, lobster and scallops served with a side of southern style French cut green beans. Short Ribs – with sweet potato, carrot puree, meat falling off the bone. Lovely, tableside salad toss and serve. Set in an old church right on 17 in Little River, this amazing restaurant is an easy drive up from Myrtle Beach. Took us 25 minutes up 31 to 17 north. Reservations recommended. Plenty of parking .

We were a party of 8 and the first customers to arrive for lunch. This restaurant is family-owned and operated. Our waitress was the mother and the father and son work the kitchen. The menu offers a lot of variety, esp. Polish cuisine. We were informed that there were only 3 orders of Schnitzel left and no carrot cake since they were so busy the night before that they didn't have time to prepare more. That's a totally unacceptable excuse in the restaurant business.
Our table ordered meatballs/spaghetti, fish/chips, pickle soup (which is unique and excellent), stuffed cabbage, some kind of cabbage stew, pierogies, and Cuban pork sandwichs. Plus we had water, sodas, and wine. This is a small restaurant and this day it filled up quickly. All the other tables ordered after us and got served before us. But when we did get our food, it was fantastic. All fresh food and homemade. Absolutely delicious! However, our waitress was so busy, she didn't get back to us on refills of drinks.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I plan to return. My recommendation to the owners would be to hire some more help--a kitchen prep person/baker and another waitress for lunch.

Very comfortable beach contiguous Italian restaurant. Great for "date night." Ambience is casual, and for the most part, the attention to detail is professional. I enjoyed my experience, but must acknowledge that I've had far superior Italian food for less money. My wait person struggled with attention to detail both on ordering and lack of knowledge regarding mixed drinks. Not a big deal, but expected better for the pricing. Definitely would go again though. Enjoy!

Parkway Bistro is a full-service dining restaurant located in Longs, South Carolina - Just minutes from the beach! Enjoy freshly made cuisine from our award winning chef - all at an affordable price. Weekly Lunch and Dinner specials to suit your desires.
This is one of our favorite places. We were very sad when it closed due to the owners age he could no longer work the long hours. He said He would stay with the new owners so that they would follow his Recipes. Well we have been back two times since it reopened. I wanted to go more then once before writing a review. I am pleased to say the food and service is as good as it ever was. The new owners are working very hard to keep this place going. So if you have never been there or are a previous customer do yourself a favor and go to The Parkway Bistro U won't be disappointed...

We've had lunch several times with friends from out of town, and it's a nice place to gather, talk and have a good menu at a moderate price. Great view of the intercoastal waterway harbor too!
