Waitress said the deep fried fish is their specialty. She was correct! Fish very good, fries good, slaw good. Family restaurant that is popular with the locals - always a good sign. Service was very good. Facility is a bit dated but clean. Best choice in Ligonier.

Ate at this restaurant again while we were getting our RV worked on. Very clean little restaurant. We had the breakfast special which was two eggs, choice of meat, pancakes or toast with coffee for $5.00!! Pancakes were nice and fluffy and very filling. Hand made sausage patties. They have a breakfast buffet on Saturday and also a lunch buffet. The pies also look awesome! Excellent food! Highly recommend this restaurant!

We had our first visit to Moonraker's Pub and we will definitely be returning. This restaurant sits on the main street, in the small town of Cromwell. It does not have a phone number, so reservations can not be made. We arrived at 6:00 and we were warmly greeted by the owner as we walked in and plenty of seating was available. It is a seat yourself place, so we took a table close to the buffet. Immediately, a waitress appeared to take our drink order and explain the specials for the evening. Throughout our time there, she was attentive and knowledgeable. The owner also appeared at our table several times to make sure we were satisfied with our food and service. The place has a lovely rustic atmosphere and is exceptionally clean.
The menu has a large selection of items, including lobster, King crab, steaks, prime rib, sandwiches, etc. There is also an excellent all you can eat soup & salad bar and a hot buffet, which costs an amazingly low price of $8.88! The 4 of us decided on the hot buffet and salad bar and were extremely satisfied with our choice. There were selections of philly cheese steak stuffed peppers, pork cordon bleu, chicken and noodles, vegetable medley, stuffed potatoes and a spicy chicken dish. Soups were BLT and chili. The food was hot and very tasty. The salad bar had a good assortment of fresh salads and at least 8 salad dressings.
The bar is a full service bar and drinks were well prepared and also very reasonably priced.
We are looking forward to returning soon and ordering off the menu, planning to try their seafood or surf and turf.
The restaurant opens at 4:30, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 Friday, Noon on Saturday and Sunday. They are on FaceBook, which the owner checks frequently and will answer any questions you may have. This place is well worth a visit and the drive there, is scenic.

The decor is charming and cozy and quiet.
The place reminds me of Cafe Odeon in Lagos Portugal but more spacious. The plates are in a blue and white pattern reminding me of Portugal tiles. There is a small bar area with an open kitchen area.
The food was more upscale than other local places but not too fussy and just the right amount. I had chicken thighs with Gorgonzola and it was so well warmed I might have burned my tongue if I had not been careful. They have specials and change the chicken option. The pork chop and the spaghetti with pulled sausage was excellent as well.
Can't wait to comeback here!

The Channel Marker is located on the boat channel between Lake Wawasee and Syracuse Lake in Syracuse, IN.
While enjoying an outing on Wawasee Lake with our son and 5 kids, we decided to give the Channel Marker a try. We were warmly greeted by our waitress and advised that we could enjoy dinner on the patio. Beverages were ordered while we leisurely perused the menu. I laughed when one grandson said he was ordering 2 sandwiches as he was starved. Through a misunderstanding, an extra dinner was delivered and when we explained how she had misunderstood, absolutely no offer of taking the meal back or not charging us for it was made. We were stuck paying for a $12.00 or $13.00 dinner. I can't write too much more about out dinners as we never received a bill itemizing our order just the final credit card receipt. My husband is almost always a 20% tipper and he did so though I felt we should have subtracted the extra dinner cost. Will we return, not sure????

A wonderful restaurant that not only offers great food but the service is extraordinary!
We walked in late, yet the owner was welcoming and accommodating! The food was delicious, even though we arrived late, the food was fresh, cooked to order and presentation was perfect.
Cod fish, salads and chicken strips were all good choices.
The bar is large and restaurant is nicely decorated.
Truly the best part was the management and his staff!

Daniel is a friendly caring guy. He prepares the food himself each order separately. His breakfasts are great. Good lunch specials every day. Prices are very reasonable.
