It is a new restaurant in Leesville, that has great home cooked food!!!
The Mustard Seed never fails to please. Every time we've eaten there, this time included, has been great. This time I got chicken fried steak which was very good. Fried okra and sautéed squash hit the spot. In the past I've had the BBQ, fish, pork chips and it's always just well cooked homestyle food at good prices with excellent service.

I️ expected a big, juicy meat patty that had been hand pressed with actual cheese on some home-made type of bread bun.... Yeah. See, when you’re visiting this area of Louisiana, lower the expectations a few levels. The meat patties were flat. The cheese...processed Kraft singles. The bread...day old from the bakery thrift store. Sorry, but this place could do a LOT better, but I️ guess the drive isn’t there to make it so. Yeah..... just go to Burger King or Wendy’s instead. This place is flat.

I stopped for an iced latte, this was the only coffee shop in town. They actually were not a coffee shop, but had a household style espresso machine and made a few flavors of lattes. I did purchase a cookie while I was there as well, they had a couple of flavors of muffins and a couple of flavors of cookies on the counter. It was good.
The young girl who made my iced latte had no idea what she was doing, she started steaming the milk for the iced drink, until I asked her not to. I had asked for just 2 or so ounces of milk, she wasted about 10-12 oz because she did not know how much an ounce was. They had silver pitcher style shot glasses and she put one on each side of the double spout as you would for 2 drinks, and ran it twice, so the drink I asked for 2 shots in actually had about 6 ounces of espresso. She poured the sugar free vanilla syrup directly into the cup and put about half of a small bottle. Needless to say, it was a waste of money and I had to throw it out. The location is cute and the idea is good, they just need a little training.

Bailey's has a great breakfast menu......donuts, sandwiches, etc. However, they close at 11AM. If you want something later, too bad. For a bakery, they have very limited menu.....very few pastries, cookies, etc. Also, they do decorated cakes, but you have to pick them up before 11AM and keep them at work until you get off. We moved here from Beaumont, TX, where we had a wonderful full-service bakery, Rao's Bakery. Bakeries should be open all day and offer breads, pies, pastries, cookies, cakes, etc. all day without having to pre-order everything.

We enjoyed the ice cream and the service so much we went back the following day before leaving to go home! Staff was so helpful and offered many opportunities to try different and unusual flavors. Good thing we don't live close, our waistlines would suffer!

Fresh smoked BBQ meats daily, Sports Bar, 17 TV's with Big Screen, Shows All Major Sporting Events, Party Room, Kid & Family Friendly
It's difficult to write this review because I feel like the two times I've eaten at this restaurant, the others I've been with have enjoyed their food. I feel like if you've had limited eating experiences, you'll be okay at this restaurant. However, if you've traveled the world (or even U.S.) a little bit, you'll find this place to be terrible. The meat is extremely cheap and tough. The sides are worse than McDonalds. I mean, I'm literally saying I would rather drive down the road and eat at McDonalds than eat at this place. Atmosphere however is top notch. The place is super cool. If I was looking for a place to grab a beer and watch the game, I would definitely go here.

Leesville is not known for its dinning experience. I found this Thai restaurant to be reasonable. They had a wide selection of various dishes. The restaurant is rather small, but was clean and neat. I only had one dish, the beef kung pow. It was ok. The beef was deep fried, a little different than what expected.

After living in Houston for 21 years where there is a plethora of great Mexican restaurants , what an amazing find here! Excellent food and service! I commend the dedication and commitment to stay in tune with the customers needs and providing a great atmosphere for authentic Mexican food! Keep up the good work!
