Located in the new Boulder Falls Inn hotel on the Samaritan Health Sciences Medical Campus in Lebanon, Oregon, 1847 stands out among other restaurants in the region. Fresh Pacific Northwest faire is served up daily in a modern, casual atmosphere with the best view in the Willamette Valley! The restaurant and bar feature a wall of windows that look out onto an elaborate 1-acre Japanese garden with 3 waterfalls, gazebos, walking paths, and an enormous koi pond. After dinner, enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail in The Annex bar on the second floor. Our covered and heated deck overlooks the water and garden.
Went in for a mid afternoon lunch. Quick and efficient staff and wait staff greeted us, answered questions, brought coff and took our order.
We chose the Vegetables Tempura as a starter. Nice batter, real crispy and the sauces were different. Nice variety of vegetables, good choice.
My husband ordered the Mushroom Brie Burger and I chose the Banh Mi Burger. The Mushroom Brie had really thick Brie slices and a good amount of mushrooms. Delicious!
The Banh Mi Burger had plenty of pickled veggies, similar in taste to the veggies on a traditional Banh Mi sandwich. The mix of pork and beef for the patty was satisfying, but left me longing for the fire roasted pork slices found in the Vietnamese sandwich. However this was a good fusion. We both had the fries with smoked ketchup. Good fries, crispy and salt and pepper already seasoned. All in all very satisfying.
We told the waitress we didn’t want dessert. I said I always longed for something that was just a bite, extolling the virtues of restaurants which offer mini dessert choices.
She returned with our check and a plate with a single warm from the oven chocolate chip cookie on it. Perfect!!!
We will return!

While walking around in Lebanon my wife and I decided to have a cappuccino at a fairly new business. As we entered the business we noticed a woman sweeping and chatting with a customer. As the customer left, the sweeper picked up her pace and moved tables around as she cleaned which is a good sign. My wife always looks in corners wherever we eat, sleep, or do business. It's a great indicator of a businesses character. The sweeper greeted us and sent us to the counter where we asked about getting a cup of cappuccino.
We were told about the origins of the roast, the background of the roaster and decided to order a cappuccino. We made sure to order it DRY which to uninitiated means just a strong shot of espresso and milk foam on top. The coffee show was wonderful as it left no sharp finish and the foam on top was thick and tasty. We have now found our new, go to coffee house in the area!
Other reviews of SUGAR VIBES mention the doughnuts. Since we just wanted a coffee we passed on the doughnuts this time..
Back to the sweeper; turns out the sweeper is Janelle Jackola, the owner and she is very particular about being super clean. While we were enjoying our cappuccino, a couple came into the shop and bought some doughnuts to take back to Portland with them. I'd say that was a good sign that SUGAR VIBES products are good.

Gastropub with 20 taps of craft beers and made from scratch food including bread, sauces, soups, sandwiches, etc. A comfortable rustic atmosphere.
I went on the recommendations of local residents and found this place was just not for me. It was very loud inside and seating was limited.
I ordered a sandwich special and cam of soda, it came with a handful of potato chips. The sandwich was average in size and I was not impressed with how it tasted... I didn't even finish it. I felt like I wasted my $15. Even if I would've liked the sandwich, the price was steep for what I received.

This was our first visit to LIMEberry. We have been to Yogurt Extreme many times and love it. We were not expecting the same here, but for the most part were very happy. Not as many toppings as Yogurt Extreme and not as clean though overall still plenty to choose from. More expensive than YE as well. Only Fro Yo place in town though, so we will be back.

We have eaten here probably 20 times and love it. The staff is very helpful and on tope of things. Food is very good and the selections of beers rocks! There are nights they have live music, which is fun. Family friendly and a comfortable atmosphere.

We called in here for dinner on our way home from Sisters.
On our arrival we were greeted, taken to a table and given chips and salsa whilst we perused the menu.
Two of our party went for the two burrito special, one for skirt steak burrito and one for the Mexican Pizza.
When the food arrived, piping hot and freshly cooked it was delicious. The portions were huge and excellent value for money - we all took the excess home in boxes!
I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Typically I drive over to Albany for a breakfast outing when I'm visiting family in Lebanon, but this time I decided my niece and nephew needed to experience something different. They were a bit skeptical at first, but I told them it would be an adventure. It wasn't busy when we first walked in about 8:30 on a weekday morning, but several people came in shortly after us. For being empty, service was slow to get going, but once it did, the waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. As others have mentioned, the decor is a bit run-down and could use a facelift, but the food was pretty good and portions were large. The only complaint on the food was the type of cheese that was used in the omelets wasn't that great - I don't remember if it was specified in the menu and we just missed that or it was just different from what we expected. Overall it was fine, but not somewhere I'd get excited about eating at again.

This place does it right. Big portions, fair prices and awesome food. Well off the beaten path towards the river on the East end of town but worth it. Service was fair, but to go order took no more than 15 minutes and there was enough that we were able to make 2 meals out of it. Other places in town serve Teriyaki, but this place is hands down the best.
Seating inside is limited and not meant for large groups. Better taken to go or even better take it to go and enjoy by the river which is very close by.
