Located on the border between Mexico and the U.S., on U.S. I-35 and Mexican Federal Highway 85, Laredo is America's largest inland port and one of the oldest border crossing points. Once capital of the briefly held independent Republic of the Rio Grande, the city has survived a long history of conflict and friendship between the U.S. and Mexico. Its legacy is a rich community boasting unique shopping, lively entertainment and festivals, including the month-long Washington's Birthday Celebration.

Definitely gotta try the ribs in this place as well as the Turkey. You can get a great meal for the family for a good price;the environment is cool, the hands on environment is great as well as the treatment from the workers. Another great thing is that you can reuse your cups all you have to pay for is the refill on your next visit

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Drinks, drinks, and more drinks. Loved the great friendly service. The waitress was awesome. She deserved the $10 tip. Kindness goes a long way. The pictures below are the same favorite drink, it's called a SangRita. The onion blossom is a delish appetizer and you can't go wrong with the Chicken Fried Chicken plate. I greatly recommend that you celebrate your birthday here because they will all sing to you.

At El Capataz, the focus is on creating a new approach to casual dining by incorporating flavors with Latin flair.
Recommend the chicken wings and mussels to start. Friends had the prime rib that was excellent. The fish tacos lived up to the hype. Great bear selection. The staff was very attentive. All in all a great dinner.

Using high quality standards, our Team deliveries the best pizza in town, using only top high quality ingredients
I love Pizza, but i did not like this place. If you think little ceasars or pizza hut is great pizza then this is definitely the place for you. The pizza was bland, didn't like the cheese and honestly it just tasted and felt like a low budget pizza. If you're a true pizza lover that has been to notable pizza joints across the country, then this is not the place for you.

We had a very good lunch at Border Foundry restaurant. We enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, brisket empenadas (dinner menu however they serve it at lunch if its ready and you ask), the beet and orange salad. Some of the other salads looked very good as well including the grilled caesar (next time) and all were reasonably priced.
For our entree we had burgers, portobello/ciabatta sandwich and the Cubano. The food was good, the atmosphere was somewhat upscale but still casual. Our server Angel was very friendly and the service was very good as well.
My parents live in the area and are regulars and we would come back again as well. We have not been there for dinner but heard that is very popular and can get very busy especially on the weekends.
We also had IPA beer and a couple of wines by the glass that were very good as well. Pinor Noir and Chardonnay.
