This place is always great, especially for pies and other baked goods. Their burgers are also delicious. Every time we get to Long Beach we make sure to stop by. The portions are large and the prices are small.
I think they make the best pies in the Los Angeles area. I'm partial to coconut cream, unless they have fresh peach or strawberry pie.
We also love to bring home some of their frozen chicken pot pies.

Great food and service enjoyed on the patio for an early family lunch. We had a variety of sandwiches that were piled high with deliciousness. Had a difficult time opening our mouths wide enough to take a bite. A definite thumbs up if you are not counting calories or carbs. We splurged!

George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!
This restaurant has a fun atmosphere with Greek art and paintings on the wall.
The employees are very warm & friendly. The food is fairly priced and large portions.
My family's favorite is the fried Calamari & Lamb Souvlaki. We dine here often & is our go-to restaurant for great lamb!

Fantastic burrito lunch. My buddy is a mexican dude and he told me to check this out. Carnitas burrito was fantastic!!! A real deal torpedo to the gut after, and very good flavour. Must try. Friendly people, $10 lunch, good flavour.

This place was spotless. Even the train chugging around a track above your head is spotless; not like many things at other restaurants hanging from the ceiling that are coated in greasy dust! Impressive cleaning skills here. AND, the food was good, too. Very attentive service from all the employees assuring our coffee was filled and meals prepared to our liking. The manager/owner even stopped to check at each table; something these days you don't even see in many upscale restaurants. I would highly recommend this place for the food, atmosphere and location near Long Beach airport.

We thought we would check out this place that has been around for a long time. It was old enough inside, but clean. We were seated immediately. We both ordered the 3 egg breakfast. My husband ordered a side of hash browns and I requested fruit.
Food came fairly fast, but sadly both of our plates had cold eggs. My husband's potatoes were not throughly cooked. We did not notify the server or owner.
The restaurant had a good amount of customers so it does seem popular.
We were disappointed.

Small and minimalist with "historical" (50's) Lakewood decor. Good alternative to diner/coffee shop/chains, similar menu but more interesting recipes, far superior fresh food and only slightly higher prices. Meatloaf has finely chopped veggies instead of grain fillers, delicious with the gravy they serve with it. Burgers are imaginative and very tasty, sloppy and satisfying. Breakfast reliable but pricey. OK beer & wine selection. Service is good and downright cheerful. It's on our "go-to" list now, one of the 5 to 10 places we go on the spur of the moment for good food/value, no dress-up, quiet and comfortable, quick turnaround and take the leftovers home for next-day lunch. A real find, every community needs a place like this.

I really like the salad and salmon. I tried to eat different salad every time I go and they are all fresh and delicious but my favorite is the Mediterranean salad it is a bomb.

Really enjoyed it. Informal yet classic strip mall sushi diner with good food and creative options. We each ordered a cut roll and shared. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. It differs from my local sushi diner (which is more expensive) insofar as my local diner offers thicker cuts of sushi and their rolls are made with less rice. Here fish cut thinner and they use more rice. That said, it is well done, nicely presented, and less expensive. Service is friendly. My suggestion to the owner would be to add cushions to bench seating as it was a bit uncomfortable.

The food is good. Love the condiment bar on steroids! You dress your own sandwiches, etc. with lettuce, tomato, onion, dressings, cheese sauce, etc.
Kids (and I) LOVE the soda machine with a gazillion choices.
Ambiance is fun. Lots to look at.
A few arcade games to play for the kids, giving the adults a few seconds of uninterrupted conversation. Like it!
They used to, many moons ago, serve chicken tacos. They were bomb!! We about cried when taken off the menu.
Car shows frequent this parking lot, so that is a fun time to go. (Not sure days.) We've been here to see the high school brass perform on the patio, ball team gatherings, fund raising events, our kids birthday parties. Prices are a little high, but food is good and it's a fun atmosphere.
