We ate here as we spent a night in Lakeview on our way south from Washington state to Lake Tahoe. The receptionist at our hotel suggested Mario's. What a surprise. Very nice place with excellent friendly service, very good food at a reasonable price. The tempura mushrooms were plentiful and excellent. I had the lemon chicken and my wife had the sesame chicken salad, both very good. There was no room for dessert. When we return to Lakeview this will be where we eat!

Stopped in during a long road trip to have some lunch. Staff was friendly and offered a good recommendation. The food was good but nothing special. Took a while for our orders to come out and when they did it was two at a time (of six) over a five minute period.
We like Burger Queen better.

Cant really tell you if they have good coffee, we never found it open 3 out of 4 days in the morning it wasnt open 30-40 minutes after posted opening time. They may be fine but not ontime.

My husband and I were passing thru Lakeview and debated to stop at Safeway and grab and sandwich or try the burger queen. Big mistake, should have gotten something at the Safeway grocery store rather than the burger queen.
I ordered 1/2 a veggie sandwhich, it was a dry piece of bread with a piece of cheese, diced green peppers and canned olives, no lettece, tomatoes, NOTHING! Was the worst sandwhich I have ever had.
Hard to believe someone can screw up a 1/2 a sandwhich but they did. We will never, ever eat there again. I also ordered a small order of tater tots, greasy and was sick 1/2 hour later after leaving the restaurant.

Good service, good food, reasonable prices, large portions - good beer selection. Right in the middle of town. Pretty much all of your national favorites by the bottle here. This is one of the better places to eat in town. Wish the salsa was a little less watery and had some fire in it, but otherwise, the Mexican food here is quite good. No TV, so don't plan to sit and watch a game and have a beer here.

The Dinner Bell is our 'go to' cafe on our road trips to/from Reno. Good comfort food & homemade pies. Reasonable prices as well. It's a favorite of locals as well.

A couple that run the place make very good and tasty food for a good price. Not a large place to sit but it is worth the time to eat here. They want to make sure you enjoy what they fix.

541-947-4996; Local Establishment, very busy. Highly recommended by locals.
We arrived just before closing, but the young lady did not seem at all perturbed. She said she was baking and it did smell delicious!
The seafood pasta salad was excellent and a very generous portion. Most of the "seafood" was imitation krab, but in small enough pieces I did not mind. Large list of sandwiches, but my husband stuck with his usual Italian grinder.

Stopped in on our way from SW Oregon to Missouri. Not much on the stretch from Medford to Winnemucca. The Sandwich was standard Subway but the staff was a bit...yikes...and the lady making them spit while she talked. I'd avoid it next time if I had a choice.
