We went there for some dinner after we arrived from Portland. Good was actually pretty good. But I'm used to authentic north Indian food, and I live in Germany.

We frequent this place and always leave satisfied and happy. The best is the BLT with chicken breast and avocado. They bake everything on site. First rate in every way for a great lunch at very fair prices. True home touch quality.

After years of living in WA our friends decided to return to Minnesota, nearer family. And so, I wanted this to be a memorable farewell -a gracious waiter, scrumptous food, comfortable seating, attractive decor and music such that you could enjoy while having a conversation. I knew there to be only one place to fit that bill - Lemon Grass at Hawkes Prairie. We were not disappointed.

We tried several dishes and most were excellent. We did the 4-course sampler. Seafood appetizer with lemon aioli was a standout. Turkey cutlets with wild berry sauce was a little mushy. The bread was surprisingly disappointing--they should just grab some baguettes at the Bread Peddler. Gnocchi with wild boar was very good. Butternut squash ravioli was over-cooked and could have used more stuffing--they were almost flat--but still delicious. Gelati were perfect, and the chocolate cake with just a hint of chili was great. Wine list was overpriced, but we expected that. Service was attentive and friendly and offered good advice. Would go again for a special occasion.

Red meat is theme here. Since they have opened, prices have skyrocketed to ridiculous heights. The cooking of the food simply does not match the sky high prices.
The food arrives cold, plates cold, meat not
done as requested and not even good. The service has become even slower than before, making it THE WORST service anywhere in the County. Save your money,
this place is a total DISASTER. We will never go back again.

We had lunch here one day while visiting with my daughter. We all enjoy Thai food, and this restaurant only reinforced that.
They had all the standard fare, plus some dishes normally seen rarely outside Thailand.
Service was polite and efficient. We will go here again.

We stopped by on a Friday evening and the place was packed. We waited less than 10 minutes for our table. We had beer and Caesar Salad, French Onion soup, Tempura Prawns, and Flatbread Caprese from the Happy Hour menu. Everything was excellent and delicious. Our waitress, Kia, was awesome! The only negative we have about Hop Jack's is that it was super loud in there just from people's conversations and that the dining area lacks "atmosphere". It seems more like a diner. This place is so popular, they should think about expanding and maybe decorating more in a pub theme.

We stopped in one evening on the way home from Seattle (after-dinner hour) with an appetite and after reading the meun ordered the liver and onions, mashed potatoes and another veggie. I LOVE good liver and onions and this ranked among the better such meals I've had. Home-made pie for dessert all served up by the kind of waitress you'd expect in such a place :-) It was all good and at a reasonable price. Except for the fact that it's a little out of our normal paths of travel we would stop in again without hesitation.

Hands down, the best sandwiches are served at Meconi's! I used to be a regular Subway customer in Seattle until I moved to Lacey. I've tried Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, Firehouse Subs in my local area and they do not compare to Meconi's. My favorite choices are the Philly and the Italian. Great value for the quality of the food here. This particular visit, I bought 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and a over-sized delicious Snickerdoodle cookie for $16. Staff is great and dining area is well kept.
