Very impressed with the place - believe it is a converted two story home and plenty of room for shopping and eating... also restroom upstairs and down. Parking lot is good for bikers too! Food was very tasty - very fresh ingredients- chicken salad sandwich was good. You order at the counter and they give you a pager.... the ordering at the counter was a bit slow - I think it was the process using the register that seemed cumbersome... all in all, great atmosphere and food and we will be back!

For a small town eatery, this place goes over the top. Ostensibly a sandwich shop, Buffalo Joes offers sooooo much more. Their salads are creatively spiced, and absolutely fresh.
I could make a meal out of two of their appetizers. The frogs legs come with carrot and celery spears, and a remoulade sauce that is just heavenly. Onion rings come out hot and crunchy - with just enough bite to reassure you that these are real onions.
Their half sandwiches (with a side and a drink) are a real value.

Since moving to the San Antonio area we have eaten breakfast here quite a bit. It’s good, the servers are very nice and helpful. The burgers are fabulous especially the jalapeño cheese burger which is a family favorite! A couple of things that could be improved. There is nothing very healthy on the menu - not even a salad every dish is full of calories and the hostess who greets you at the door on Sunday’s needs further training as she has been very argumentative when it comes to allocating tables. No complaints otherwise! We will continue going as a family.

My order was quick and the way that I request and was still warm when brought to my table. My only problem was that the cashier short changed me by six cents and didn't notice. When brought to her attention, she did correct it. To me it is the principle of the thing not the money.

The unpretentious building belies an amazing dining experience. Lance provides food as magical as his awesome illusions in a quiet, family friendly environment. The decor is as simple as the bamboo ceiling, yet emits an explainable peace and serenity that makes your dining experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. I had the seafood platter with some of the best catfish nuggets I've ever eaten. My wife had the Tex-Mex Salad which was covered with fried chicken nuggets and delicious. You really must give this place a try, and be sure to ask Lance to show you his "greatest illusion". You'll be twice amazed; one by Lance, and once by his food.

Sammy's has a few waitresses that are so friendly and they remember you and what you like to order. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food especially breakfast is a good value and good food. They have lunch specials that are good food for good prices. Their tea is great and served in large glasses and comes free with your specials. Otherwise it is average in price.

Food is consistently good! Try a watermelon powerade! 2-4 is happy hour & all drinks are half price!

Anything fried tastes like everything fried. Everything is dry and without taste. Witte's use to be awesome. Now it's old, tired and food is blah.

Have visited several times and always had a good meal. I prefer the chicken parmigiano but have enjoyed pizza as well. Pasta choice was also good. Service was good but a little slow. Atmosphere a bit lacking. Pleasant servers. Meal, with wine, was very pleasant.
